RIP very sorry to hear.It seems like flying is becoming unsafe a lot of crashes happening lately. Lets hope God give patience to the families of deceased who suffered loss.

You need to look up the definition of 'rate' in the dictionary.

Statistically speaking, flying has never been safer.

Most of the budget airlines in the West fly more revenue passenger miles/kilometres in one month than PIA flies in one year.

Given the rarity of fatal accidents amongst the budget airlines, they are far safer than PIA which had a fatal accident as recently as 2006.
