NDS foils terror bid, seizes explosives

AT-KABUL: National Directorate of Security (NDS) foiled a terror bid by recovering a huge amount of explosive materials.

The NDS in a statement said that their operatives seized around 6,000 kilograms of explosive materials in Paktika province. The explosives were brought from South Waziristan to be used in a deadly terrorist attack in Logar province. He said that the explosives belonged to Haqqani Network.

The explosives were hidden under stacks of wood in a truck.

The statement said that the NDS operatives arrested one person in connection with the explosive materials.

It added that the type of the explosives were Ammonium Nitrate, the chemicals widely used by militants in suicide blasts and roadside bombings.

Who supplied 6000 kg of bombs ? Arms dealers from US CHINA RUSSIA Bulgaria ? India ? IRAN ? All of them but nit Pakistan .
