Using file photos of equipment for reference like solar this and solar that is NOT plagirism. Its just to inform the readers about the said idea and the product how it could look like.

NOTHING to do with Indian BS claims here. So relex have a good sleep. When any such solar Rickshaw was introduced in Pakistan and when any such thing starte plying Pakistani roads then we will publish its pictures as well as run interviews of the rickshaw drivers.


if Indian roads dint see such vehicles then be sure ours are also on the same lazy side.

a very good initiative for utilizing the green energy. Govt already cut on import duties of hybrid vehicles. so we are definitely in right direction.
what important here is the cost-benefit ratio for the rickshaw driver. the type of panels used mono/poly?, in what capacity they are being used, the quality of batteries used, their life cycle. would a rickshaw driver be able to maintain the life of batteries, motor and panels for a longer time?

There is no rocket science in making a solar powered rikshaw, that dude was just blowing smoke to do what he does in every thread..... trolling!

Bro both u and me will be on PDF for next 3 years, mark my word, even aftr 3 years, it won't be reality.. its a fail concept Let me tell why..

a) Pollution: The low budget solar rickshaw will run on Lead-acid batter, we (poor country) don't have infrastructure to fight lead pollution.
b) cost overrun: the battery need replacement within 2 years which will cost higher.
c) Range : The slow moving traffic of Delhi and Lahore will kill your ambition, The range of this rikshaw may be X Km, but in slow moving traffic (transmission losses, braking) the range will be X/2 or X/3 Kms..

There's nothing and No invention . This Idea will die faster than gastrotrich on cost-to-benefit analysis . every now and then Indians and Pakistanis come up with such Hot air ideas every now and then which has been discarded and dumped long back .

Here's a Detailed Research Paper from IIT Bangalore published in 2003 which concluded that Solar powered 3 wheeler will cost 30 percent more than normal 3 Wheeler . Apart from that there are many other considerations as well .
