. . . .
he is responding to DG ISPR tweet from Dawn Leaks in which he also used same kind of words "report rejected"

NS should just shut the F up he is only doing more damage than he can handle, 4 officers are sacked, 2 of which are brigadier level, this is step towards right direction and ganja should be happy with that instead he is being as ziddi as IK

. . .
A person with fake medical reports, fake businesses, fake money trails, fake fonts, fake mandate even fake hair is having the audacity to reject it. Someone should put some sense he is not being served his favourite "allo ghost" ki plate that he is rejecting.

What report? All we got so far is a ridiculous statement from ISPR excusing or attempting to explain an illegal kidnapping carried out by multiple armed forces personnel. The explanations and rationale given for these actions within that statement are both astonishing and absurd.

Is there a legal kidnapping? How can IG even be kidnapped? Some people just want to make a mountain out of a mole hill for petty political interests.

A) Rangers have a law enforcement mandate provided by Federal and Sindh govt, so their presence is justified.
If their presence is a nuisance and Sindh police was even half capable of protecting civilian lives, then Rangers can and should be withdrawn. In what civilized country do you have Army working as a police in a metropolitan? The crux of the issue is simple - Army shouldn’t even be in civil areas.

B) Sindh police is an abject failure and has no moral standing in the public at all - how many illegal kidnappings and extrajudicial killings have been executed under Sindh police’s own watch at the orders of Mafia heads like Zardari? I know this is not directly related but we need to see the overall context as well; otherwise similar complaints of torture and extra judicial actions are also raised by likes of TTP and AQ too, should we court martial all those soldiers who forgot to read the rights to a suicide bomber marching towards them?

C) The Army - for right or wrong reasons - has the only authority to reprimand the culprits as per the constitution. Both Sindh and Federal govt are satisfied as publicly stated. If we leave it to PMLN and their supporters, they wont stop short of Bajwa and Faiz Hameed’s public hanging. And if you ask Maryam Nawaz she would dismiss the entire Corps Commanders.

Again the officers sacked were just following orders. Its mind boggling that 4 officer just woke up one day cocky and overzealous, decided to lay siege on house of an IG; Kidnapped him and told him to register a case against law breaking scoundrel. Let me tell you one thing sir no officer in the army wants to ruin his carrier by acting overzealously, they serve with dignity and follow the chain of command. This statement is an absolute pile of shit. The entire operation could not have been orchestrated without the green signal from GHQ. Bajwa Saab fucked up. The amount of humiliation the army has faced in his tenure is unparalleled.

is harami ko mara kyon nahi.. he has made all state institutions weak and now honestly he has dented army as an institution and has made it weak
Army weakened itself by becoming controversial and doing stupid stuff which it shouldn't interfere with in the first place. Army did interfere politically before, but used to do it from the shadows which was more beneficial and less detrimental to its support. Bajwa fucked it up by openly making blunders and taking political sides. PMLN is major major party and you just cant **** with it like MQM. If you want accountability it should be across the whole board not selective suppression. The boys are deep with PPP now and Bilo rani might become next PM of pakistan.

What do you think it is the chief was investigating, and what are these other officers being reprimanded for, if not for this kidnapping saga?

A) The rangers are answerable to the federal government, they have no legal authority or right to arrest/abduct/kidnap IG police.

B) Irrelevant, your personal opinion here is not the subject. Also let's not get into whataboutery. We're talking about this incident, not what about x,y,z injustice. Whatever you think of Sindh police, kidnapping of IG is illegal and abhorrent. Period.

C) No it absolutely does not, let's see a citation for your claim that the army/rangers have the authority to do this? In the past illegal detention has been attempted to be justified by using the vague and draconian protection ordinance, that won't fly here.

I'm no legal expert but here's my take. Last I recall Rangers were only given very limited legal cover for arrest and detention in Sindh under Article 147 of the Constitution a few years ago. This ability was solely limited to provisions related to the Anti-terror Act. That was limited scope and for a limited time.

As for arrests the Pakistan Criminal Procedure Code: Chapter V (Of arrest, escape and retaking), B. Section 54 (Arrest without warrant) clearly applies to police officers who see a "cognizable offence" (Definition (f) ), or against a person for whom they have reasonable/credible suspicion or complaint. Not even Section 155 applies here.
