What's new

Nawaz Shareef is looking to "revive" Altaf Hussain

Hi,

Gen Raheel had his first chance to kick out Nawaz and hold new elections during Dharna---but the man has no back bone---no guts---.

Then his second chance was during the initial stages of Panama leaks---.

He is not a tactician who can look into the future---he is just a good battle field commander.
I really wonder at the "amazing" minds of these modern day Nero's who sit and watch the whole country burn but stick to their basic duty and grade 22 pay-cheques.

Why do you think it was Raheel sharif's duty to get rid of Nawaz sharif? If NAB and judiciary are not doing their job why is the public sitting in their homes? Why do they not go out and protest against the injustice? Or they don't care if they are ruled by corrupt people?

It amazes me how much we expect from our army. When Raheel Sharif became COAS the country was actually burning with terrorism. Everyday there was news of some sort of terrorism all across Pakistan. Do you think dealing with terrorism was more important or dealing with corruption was more important at that time?

If army intervened during dharnas I'm sure a lot of the people who now complain why Raheel Sharif did not do anything, would have been the thekaydars of democracy and letting people know our military interferes in everything. There are some duties of the people as well in a democracy. You keep electing the same people over and over again and then keep crying why army doesn't do anything.

If people are so upset with the corruption they should get out of their homes and join IK's protest. I have a lot of things against IK but atleast he has called for a protest and is consistent regarding this corruption issue. Instead of sitting at his home complaining about why Raheel Sharif did nothing. Raheel Sharif's job was to eliminate terrorism and he did very well . If we have CPEC it is because of Raheel Sharif. It is because he assured the Chinese they will be provided security. He is a credible man.

Sending him to a jail won't help...the best will be to shoot him and his accomplices (full cabinet and family members), Fazlur Rehman, Asif Zardari, Bilwal Zardari, Ajmal Khattak, etc.
There would be a hue and cry for a few days but then it will be normal again.
you mean revolution the Iranian way....?

lets hope not this time.. man we need to get rid of these blood sucking bugs. sooner we do the better we will be..

. . .
then how you going to get rid o
Perhaps that's what Pakistan needs.

The leadership is democratically elected by the People of Pakistan.

"If our People let him do that."
its true, but this truth is hard to swallow cause if you see public response from street every second person hates him, how did he win?

I like your sense of humour.

Well, no humor. The people elected MQM for mayoral victory. Even after the crackdown on MQM's militant activities. How did they get elected? Was there fraud? It wasn't in the news of ballot stuffing.

Weren't the ballots protected by Rangers?

The same way Brexit happened. People kept their support for him under wraps because of the massive campaign against him.

Hi,

Because it is the army who brought him in and Zardari as well.

We have been ruled by military for the longest---the military just cannot walk away and say---here is a civilian govt---deal with it---.

A mother just does not take her nipple away from the baby---it weans it away from that habbit. And same with the drug addicts.

So--it befalls upon the military to make a responsible transition of power and guide the elected official.

The best time to take the govt out was when Egypt over threw its govt---Gen Raheel if he had any brains would have done likewise---the U S or the west could not have put heavy sanctions on two major muslim nations at the same time.

When you are a nation---you deal with terrorism---you deal with corruption---you deal with incompetence and you deal with all kinds of vices that there are---.

That is how successful nations are run.

You sound so young and inexperienced---have you ever come across---or I should rather say---ever read about victims of torture begging their torturers to kill them in mercy and they will forgive the pain of torture---.

Or even easier---has any servant of ours---or just a poor man on the street begged in front of you to just kill him and be done with it---so that his misery of life may end.

You kids are so illiterate in the matters of nation building----I sometimes cannot beklieve myself---@Sinopakfriend ---you think you can help.

I feel sorry for people who want army to take down NS and feel that it's the duty of other "Shareef" to do that. I know most of the people support army and want a "Dick-tator" ruling Pakistan and when the country becomes destabilizes, blame it on politicians.

Tell me please what has army done when they were in power? Matter of fact is NS is gonna win next elections too and every one looking for Imran Khan or Army will be still looking. CPEC is underway and Army won't do any thing stupid. They will support what ever government setup is in place.

When we talk about a country which is doing better in lot of fields, don't look far, look at India. What is the difference between them and us? Democracy. Don't lecture me now that NS is corrupt to the core or Zardari did this or that. I already know that and can lecture you back. What i am trying to say is they have some thing called " Chain of Command" and they follow that. Our Army personnel are taught to hate the civilians who are in power and that's the real reason we had coups. So unless the Army follows the chain of command, we cannot say we will have a proper democratic setup.

India too has problems and corruption cases on politicians but they just don't ask their Army to take control and do what ever they want to do.
