BRUNEI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian premier Manmohan Singh might meet in September, Express News reported on Tuesday.
National Security Adviser Sartaj Aziz reportedly made the statement after he met External Affairs Minister of India Salman Khurshid on the sidelines of the ASEAN Summit.
According to IBN Live, the meeting between the two leaders lasted for about 20 minutes.
This was the first high level meeting between Pakistan and India since the May 11 elections.
Nawaz had invited Manmohan to his oath-taking ceremony in June. The Indian premier, however, turned down the invitation, saying he would not be able to attend the ceremony due to his official engagements.
