Goli train VS 20,000,000 Kids out of school.?

@muse your thoughts?

They prefer a Bullet train that most people won't be able to afford anyways. Gets rid of those dirty, brown people and protects Richie Rich's eyes from being attacked by poor, broken-down houses and other unsightly blemishes in Pakistan.

What do you expect of a government that spends more money building walls to hide the slums of Islamabad, where the servants of the high and mighty live in squalor, rather than actually helping them with something more useful?

Nawaz Shareef Bullet Train.

Rupee value is devalued to 101 from 97, these duffers seriously need to control imports & cut their lavishes & unnecessary spendings & start manufacturing in Pakistan... instead they make horrible jokes.:disagree:

No, it will come to Pakistan like the Chinese engines and run like the Business Train:

Business Train.

Great deal of money acquire it, and destined to become just another addition to the ever expanding junkyard.

Would that include socially-threatening activities like education and better healthcare?

Like you said earlier; who'd build the skyscrapers in other countries then?

Exactly that.

Talk about getting your priorities straight.
Stagnant economy, energy crisis, rife illiteracy, security issues, poor state of healthcare and education, world's worst fiscal system.

To quote a dialogue from that famous old PTV drama "LaaWaaris":

"Oye master! Jey saadey kammi kameen parh likh jaan, tey fer saadi chilam kaun bharey gaa?"

It would cost much less to build a much better railway system and manufacture the engines locally. Yet he insists on this dreadful project that will never be completed in our life-time.
