An eye-catching frogman team dressed in black jumpsuits with air cylinders strapped on their backs and
pedaling huge flippers appeared in costal waters of the Guangzhou Asian Games City in recent days.

The frogman team was composed by more than 80 veterans from the South China Sea Fleet who have fulfilled arduous tasks, including the ocean rescue, deep sea salvage, disaster rescue and relief and ocean measurements and even held the domestic diving record. They were dispatched to Guangzhou City to act in concert with the Guangzhou Public Security Bureau Marine Corps to provide comprehensive underwater security protection for the upcoming Guangzhou Asian Games.

I guess the US dollars that China has loads of are being wasted here...who is going to go to China and attack the Asian games...given that China is already a superpower and has no such threats.

It is better to be safe than sorry. The U.S. is stronger than China but has been targeted by terrorists numerous times in the past. Besides, it is better to spend the dollars now than.... you know.
