Fully committed to China, at this point in the game both China and Russia are fighting for international power (rivalry) so I doubt they are that committed to each other.

NATO is certainly courting India- only last year they offered India to partner in BMD programs. Addtionally the US/NATO partners are selling some of their mose sensitve miliatery equipment to India.

Irrespective of how 'sugar quoting' anyone does.....this is the future for India. Picked out by the brightest in the world that belong to NATO. The Indian army will be running their fights for them in other places. Simply the cost of a head is a LOT in the Western countries and people turn against them wars. But it's different for India. Nah- India isn't going to commit its army to fight others' wars. And to comment about Indian soldiers' lives being worth less than the West's is both disgraceful and wrong. Indians don't like seeing their soldiers in body-bags either. I can't see India joining NATO but I can see it getting closer to the orginsation.
