SSM organized on 29 october a conference workshop to bring together industries and research institutes for the theme "national helicopter".

SSM is working on construction of a light-medium class general purpose national helicopter.

Pakistan and Turkey should work on Joint Projects to develop Attack as well as Transport Helicopters because Pakistan needs to have its own helicopters and in great number which can be used by Army as well as police and also in relief efforts and and should be able to sell them to earn money for the country
