Hurry up- at least then we can start buying oil from them again in LARGER quantities (need to be able to get insurers for that). As it is the economic hardship has meant that the Iranian govt. is back-tracking on many of the business incentives we were going to receive.

I am old enough to remember that both Saddam and the Taliban were Iranian enemies. I always thought that the Iran-Iraq war was a way to remind the Iranians what it was like to lose friends. Since then we have destroyed every Iranian enemy in the area. Your new president is very conciliatory and seems to understand how to re-integrate. Best of luck to all sides.
