Oh nahin yaaraaa I wasn't referring to that I was talking about how, so many Americans, I've listened to, including the Higher Ups, think that the Al-Qaeeda attacked them because they - the Americans - have a system in place called 'democracy', that they drink, gamble away their money, have freedoms, capitalism & that in short the AQ attacked them because of Western Liberal Civilization & the Western of Way of Life !
What they don't understand is that they AQ attacked them on '911 because of their (American) policies of making a mockery out of the word 'sovereignty' when it comes to almost every single Muslim majority State ! Because of them propping up decadent, corrupt & at times inhumane Dictators in this part of the world all the while championing the cause of liberty & democracy ! Because the - the Americans - have a history of bringing about regime changes with many a legitimate Governments in Muslim Majority States being toppled because they'd be inconvenient for the US ! Then theres that ever present & ever increasing interference in the domestic affairs of our countries that swings between 'disapproval' on one end & out right 'cultural imperialism', albeit a subtle & well casted one, on the other end.
They - the Americans - don't realize that most of the Muslim world dislikes them because all of the above & that in that 'dislike' naturally the worst elements of our society banded together to hit back ! No matter how much one condemns the Al-Qaeeda for what they did on 9'11 & what they did was truly despicable but one can't be suckered into believing that the Al-Qaeeda are a bunch of morons out to get Western Civilization; they did all of that because of certain reasons no matter how utterly Un-Islamic their actions might have been they weren't without cause !
The day the US stops meddling in the affairs of Muslim Countries, stops invading them for the most ludicrous of reasons never mind ones that are completely unsubstantiated and stops propping up Dictators (or Kings) in our countries thereby stifling any & all public will & wants is the day they'd win Our People over & when that happens the worst elements from our society would no longer be able to corrupt the minds of our youth to go about & blow themselves up in Our city squares & Our checkpoints & stop them from targeting US presence wherever they can find it !
