Nasim lauds PTI’s stance on peace talks


Veteran politician Begum Nasim Wali Khan has appreciated the stance of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf on peace talks with Taliban and elimination of corruption.

She was talking to Provincial Information Minister Shah Farman, who visited Wali Bagh to deliver PTI chief Imran Khan’s message to her.

The central general secretary of her newly formed Awami National Party-Wali, Farid Toofan, and Aurangzeb Kasi were also present in the meeting.

The minister told Begum Nasim that Imran Khan wanted to visit Wali Bagh.

He also invited Begum Nasim to form electoral alliance with PTI for the upcoming local government elections.

Thanking the minister for his visit, she said that doors of Wali Bagh were open to all. Imran Khan would be welcomed at Wali Bagh, she added.

Begum Nasim said that all political parties should make efforts for restoration of peace. She said that ANP-W was ready to cooperate with all those forces that were working for restoration of peace. She linked peace in Pakistan with peace in Afghanistan.

About the electoral alliance, she said that ANP-W was being organised and a decision in that regard would be taken later. Definitely, she said, the party would join hands with like-mined parties for the local government elections.

PROTEST: People from different walks of life held a protest rally and staged a sit-in outside the office of deputy commissioner against the transfer of district headquarters hospital medical superintendent.

The protesters set a two-day deadline for cancellation of the transfer order. They said medical superintendent was a professional doctor and had severed the hospital with sincerity and devotion. They said that people were happy with his performance and didn’t want his transfer from the hospital.

They said that some elements of vested interests were conspiring against the medical superintendent to loot the hospital resources.

PTI: The workers of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf organised a rally and hunger strike camp against police highhandedness and unscheduled power loadshedding in the district.

The protesters, led by PTI Charsadda tehsil president Abid Khan, after passing through various roads reached Farooq Azam Chowk where they blocked the road for some time. They also staged a hunger strike camp at Farooq Azam Chowk.

They said that their strike would continue till end of power loadshedding. They alleged that police were torturing people.

Meanwhile, the traders also held a protest against poor law and order situation, increase in shop fares and forced eviction of shopkeepers.

They expressed concern over increase in fare of shops and forced eviction of some shopkeepers. They also demanded protection to business community.

A meeting of Tajir Ittehad with its president Maulana Salahuddin Shakir in the chair was also held here that was attended by a large number of businessmen.

The meeting expressed concern over prolonged power loadshedding and poor law and order situation.

Poor PTI has gone this low that now it is finding legitimacy for its stupid logic from Begum Nasim Wali, an aging and increasingly irrelevant politician in Pakistan's and KPK politics.
