India and the US are going to join hands and put one step ahead to launch a joint space mission. The US premier space agency, NASA, will join forces with ISRO to make and launch an all-weather satellite and will end years of distrust and denial of technologies.

Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman, ISRO, declared that it is a turning point in Indo-US relations. He said it is the recognition of the two country's ability to build and launch satellites together.

The operations that range from disaster management to climate change will be supported by the NASA-ISRO satellite.

On the 25th of September, the agreement to draw up the project report was signed, which collided with the birth anniversary of ISRO's late chairman Prof. Satish Dhawan.

Dr. Radhakrishnan said in a statement that teams from NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), Pasadena, and ISRO's Satellite Centre (ISAC), Bengaluru, will put the satellite together for launch onboard an Indian rocket in 2019-2020.

Dr. Radhakrishnan said, "We have been talking to NASA as part of the Indo-US civilian space cooperation agreement, and took the initiative forward during the recent visit of Administrator Charles Bolden to New Delhi and Ahmedabad". He said it is not like putting together two instruments, but an entire satellite system.

I hope that we will take all due precausions while dealealing with uncle SAM.

I could not digest their sudden discovery of love for India.
They are offering us so many thing that we may get diverted from Russia or even from our own development.

The love surely is for the increasing purchasing power of Indians and the planed expenditure for aquesition of various military equipments around 100bil
I will heat to see India in the Pak's condition 30 years down the line

Great news..but why sudden launch of an "All weather sat"??what purpose it'll serve??can someone clarify it??

So NASA is going to do all the work for India just like NASA M3 instrument found water on the moon after the Soviets in 1976.

as long as its not defence related, der shudnt b a problem.

So NASA is going to do all the work for India just like NASA M3 instrument found water on the moon after the Soviets in 1976.

Water on the moon was confirmed by India's Chandrayaan 1.

And it was Indian 'Moon Impact probe' that discovered presence of water first.

But well,I dont expect you to comprehend such things, you are only good at posting BS...like JH 7 s shooting down MKIs... :omghaha:

It's likely to have defence applications ...."All weather satellite" ....means Eye in the Sky ....!!!

So NASA is going to do all the work for India just like NASA M3 instrument found water on the moon after the Soviets in 1976.

Soviets discovered water on moon in 1976 ....China witnessed it ....and more so since you have exposed the "real-truth" ....

It has become irrevocable fact !!!

Congrats....for being inducted in " Hall of Famed Fools" !!!
