Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popularity rating has dropped from 66% to 24% in one year, according to findings by India Today’s “Mood of the Nation” survey released on Monday.

The primary reason for the fall in ratings was attributed by the respondents to the handling of the Covid-19 crisis.
“While Modi was lauded for his handling of the first wave with a high 73% approval rating in January 2021, the disruption experienced during the second wave has seen that figure drop to 49%,” the India Today report said.

As many as 27% of those who participated said that large gatherings, including election rallies, were responsible for the second wave of the pandemic in India. About 26% said that it was caused due to disregard of Covid-appropriate behaviour.
Of the respondents, as many as 71% said that Covid-19 had infected and caused more deaths in the country than reflected in government data. However, 44% of the participants attributed the health crisis to both the central and state governments.

According to India Today’s survey, as many as 29% thought that price rise and inflation was the biggest failure of the National Democratic Alliance government. About 23% of the respondents thought that the unemployment rate was the second biggest failure of the Modi government.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath was the second politician after Modi that the survey’s respondents chose for the prime ministerial position with an 11% rating. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was the third most popular face for the post with a rating of 10%.

Gandhi has seen a rise in popularity ratings from 8% in 2020, the India Today survey found. Adityanath has also seen a hike in popularity from 3% in 2019.

However, Adityanath ranks seventh in the list of 11 chief ministers who were rated on the basis of their popularity in their home states. This finding gains significance as the Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh is expected early next year.
This year, the survey was conducted between July 10 and July 22 with 14,599 participants. As many as 71% of the respondents were from rural areas and 29% from the urban sector.

The analysis covered residents of 19 states, 115 parliamentary and 230 Assembly seats.

The title is misleading.
Narandra modi lost his popularity 24 percent, which is 66 percent before and now 42 percent. Still higher then all the political leaders.
Plus one more thing can be seen that the survey was conducted before 2nd wave of carona in which we saw dead bodies floating in ganga and massive burnings. So one can argue that the popularity may have fallen further.
But none the less he remains the popular leader and that's good for us in pakistan.
No one can radicalised the indians nation as he does or his party does.
If not pakistan, they use muslims as a target to win elections. It is old stretegy where you make the majority fear the minority and so the majority vote you so you can save them from the minority.. All indian agree on that. Even godi media used to before their godies are invented.
Now to win up elections. They have chosen a new victim, muslim population and renaming cities, plus new mandir and corridor projects. A new mosque survey was requested to check if it used to be a masjid or not.
Seriously the way islam and Muslims are insulted in live TV in godi media channels. Trust me that if same was done to hindus in pakistan. Muslims would start a protest.
Radicalisation of a society is a long process, look at zia, he has radicalised the society and it took him 8 years to do that. now after 40 years we are still fighting that extrimism and unable to remove end that. That's why we see in iltolerance and most of these attacks are the result of the intolerance of people.
Similarly modi is radicalising india, it has reached it peak. Few more modi years would unleash it in such a way that the world would see its effect.
Pakistan should prepare for it in advance.
A mayanmar type situation would occur soon... And we cannot accept any more refugees nor does bangaldesh.
AND FOR THOSE WHO GO ON AT ME, I AM A PAKISTANI.
AND PLEASE READ WHOLE COMMENT BEFORE ABUSING ME.

If you ask hardcore bjp supporters, they say that it's the Yogi who should be the Head of state, not Modi. It's just like Israel, where every so called hardcore leader is not enough. If you hear the Yogis speeches in Parliament, you will see that the main point of his every speech is to how he brought Muslims on their knees and how many new places of Hindu religious value will be built in future soon.
And if you ask people about the future, economics or social growth, they simply don't have any plans or even idea. Indian private sector is working their *** out to stabilise Indian economy but what to do when fans are stronger than workers.
It's just like PTI supporters, who hate Nawaz sharif or Zerdari, but when they are asked about the economic growth and inflation in Pakistan, although they start to present charts, reports and all media crap, but in essense, the reality on the ground is that the people of Pakistan, in particular people of Karachi, are suffering due to Pti and her fan boys imaginative World.

Come on India we need this guy to win the next elections as well so that he helps India get defeated on the world stage again and again.

Modi hai tu mumkin hai :partay:
na, that Yogi dude is even more hilarious :partay:
