Names Of 56 Former PLA Generals Viral As Slain Chinese Soldiers
BOOM found that the viral list was taken right out of a Wikipedia page on Chinese generals.

A list of names of 56 individuals is being shared on social media with the claim that they are the slain Chinese soldiers from the Galwan Valley clash the occurred between Indian and Chinese troops on June 15.

This claim is false; BOOM found that those names belong to 56 former Generals of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), and that the list has been taken right out of a Wikipedia page called "List of generals of the People's Republic of China".

An image containing the viral list was shared by Twitter handle News Line IFE (@NewsLineIFE) with the caption: "#BreakingNews : Official notification on #PLA Casualties in #GalwanValley #Ladakh #IndiaChinaFaceOff ! 45 were confirmed before. But now looks like 11 who was in ICU passed away."

The list also contains a piece of text in Mandarin, which roughly translates to, "We express our deepest condolences to these families, and are firmly committed to protecting the sovereignty of our country." Created on March 2020, News Line IFE - which describes itself as a news outlet - has gained nearly 10,000 followers in just three months.

The list has been shared multiple times by various users on social media. BOOM had also received the list on its tipline for verification.

The clash at Galwan Valley on Monday night ended with the death of 20 Indian soldiers, along with reported casualties on the Chinese side. Following the clash, China has refrained from putting out a statement on the number of casualties they suffered. However, social media has been rife with false lists of names of Chinese soldiers who supposedly died from the clash.

BOOM looked through the replies to the tweet by News Line IFE, and found a comment stating that some of the names in the list belong to former PLA generals.
Taking hints from this reply, we searched for lists of former generals of the PLA, using the names mentioned in the viral list as keywords. This led us to a Wikipedia page called "List of generals of the People's Republic of China", which contained all the names mentioned in the viral list posted by News Line IFE.

If the viral list of names is compared to the list of senior Chinese generals from 1955 as mentioned in the Wikipedia page, we notice that the first 31 names in the list have been taken right out of the Wikipedia list in the same order.

We also found that the names in the viral list from number 31 to 56 match the list of names of Chinese generals from 1993 and 1994, also in the exact order as listed in the Wikipedia page. While many of the people in the list are now dead, those who are alive are all high ranking officers who are unlikely to be serving at the border. This goes on to show that the entire list of names posted by News Line IFE has been made up, and taken right out of the Wikipedia page.

the funny thing is most indians would actually believe this fake news....

India is like a 24/7 comedy show.....

As for the Muslims in India, however, it's like the 24/7 Jehennem...

*The most terrible punishment in Jehennem will be delivered is in the psychological domain

feel bad for them on one hand.. on the other hand they spared new chance to spew hate against Pakistan..

And the most cringe worthy thing is, When any such piece comes out, Some of Indian members suddenly jump on the train and start creating threads on it. Start discussing it to death. Create a narrative around it.
And When such piece is proved to be fake afterwards. Same members start disassociating from the news that it is not our "Official stance" its just a news paper or media outlet report because we are free media and everyone have to right to do journalism and bla bla.
This should stop. This trend has grown annoyingly common now a days.

nothing true comes from indians

Lie though teeth is their second nature

just checked out br India forum, the number of Chinese casualties increased again to save modi face

5 to 34 to 43 to 102 now

I am sure in 2 years bollywood film version, it's 20 dead jawans killed 43000 PLA soldiers before jumping into the river becoming martyrs

What they're going to do next is create a bunch of fake IDs on Twitter and claim that 60 gorillion Chinese soldiers died at the hands of Lord Hanuman himself, and that India has already taken over Tibet. They pulled this exact stunt on us a while ago and used fake IDs to claim the IAF forced Karachi into a blackout.

How do Indians live with themselves? Lies, backstabbing, rape, ingrained hatred... they are more like orcs than humans.

Brain washed into absurdity

Only 102?... I am disappointed

Indias fake list has 100% identical names and identical order with the list of generals on Wikipedia, a playground for Indians.

Indian response to debunking:
1) Chinese propaganda lie!
2) At least India reports something! China just denies and lies!
3) Could be coincidence! No proof India lied!
4) Didnt see or hear anything! China officially confirmed 56 dead!

I don't even consider them humans at this point. They're automatons to me. All of them waiting for instructions and commands from their local BJP IT cell on Whatsapp.

The last nation that did this was nazi Germany ... we all know happened to it ..

the Indians are a funny bunch they don’t seem to understand that they have neighbors that will not hesitate for a second to sand glass India if need be ... and yet these same neighbors have afforded every attempt at peace full coexistence... and yet they just spit on it
