Nagaland to have a separate constitution, passport and flag?
As per many reports in various newspapers of North East states, Modi govt has approved 8-point agreement with NSCN-IM which includes a separate passport and flag for Nagaland among other things

Several reports have appeared at various newspapers based in North East states said that peace talk underway between Modi government and National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) is nearing conclusion as Government of India approves the eight points charter of demands put up by the NSCN-IM. News reports also said that the eight-point demands has been signed between the two entities under the Peace Accord.

A framework agreement, Naga Peace Accord signed between the National Socialist Council of Nagalim-Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) and the Government of India on August 3, 2015 is significant for several reasons.

Government of India has accepted the new political concept of Nagas in order to resolve the indo-Naga issue at the earliest thereby paving the way for building a separate entity for the Nagas, said RH Raising, Kilo Kilonser (Home Minister) of (NSCNIM)

The 8 points signed under Peace Accord are

1. A separate constitution for Nagaland,

2. Separate Flag

3. Separate Naga passport

4. Permanent UN Representative,

5. Joint Foreign Affairs,

6. Joint Defence/Military

7. Use of Currency Rupees (Right to use Naga Currency) and ,

8. Pan Naga Government to cover all Naga inhabited Areas

I agree with you. Modi or any other politician would never accept these demands or cannot accept these demands.
That would be like Scotland under Britain.
But you people make us that there is no issue of nagaland but if they are doing a dialog and putting demands and government considering it then things must be really serious.

Lol yeah, good propaganda by National Herald.
BTW, NSCN IM chief is on the run. Indian Army and Myanmar are both hunting Naga militants mercilessly.
They were offered a peace accord in 2015, which NAGA groups signed but IM and Khaplang withdrew and started to take up arms again. Khaplang is finished, IM will be too soon.
