Because the education system isn’t able to translate what they wrote into material that is digestible for the youth. Currently the education system is focused on further misguided Islamic teachings instead of focusing on teaching children practicalities in lessons from Islamic history.

Either way, before we dither too much it would be funny that(from what I have heard) some old colleagues from the time of SA-ISR cooperation are meeting again under the UAE-ISR banner.
