Have you read his recent defense on U-turns? Now that they are biting him he starts throwing these melodramatic fits. Instead he should get on with it, for once do the job he was elected for instead of fishing out every opportunity to turn the country into a soap opera.

I hear this often ... and everyone of them wants this rotten system to continue.

It does make sense!! After this vote of confidence, opposition can't bring one for 6 months! In these 6 months, some critical legislations will be passed by joint sittings and those would be nail in coffins of the corrupt and ECP as well!

No ,opposition can bring it any time since this vote of confidence is not tabled by opposition ...government itself asking for it ...there is separate article in constitution for this I believe ...

You are wrong! This vote of confidence is under 91(7) called by the President himself, it's not some simple resolution called by Gov. IK played it very smart, closing the door of such a vote for next 6 months.

Opposition can't bring a vote of confidence directly - it comes from the President ONLY under 91(7) - and that is one and then 6 months break.

IK's yesterday address to the nation was clear - that he will sit in opposition if he doesn't win this vote. That was a direct message/threat to the coalition partners and his internal party hopefuls of PM seat as well.

As for Punjab, he has welcomed the opposition's move to call whatever they want. With 6 months breathing period after this vote of confidence and the legislations that will get through, he may just call for mid-term. I think we are heading towards new elections.

Opposition is asking for mid-terms now - but it won't be in favour of it once new legislations are through!
