Nawaz being led out was the single biggest mistake of IK. Establishment wanted to let him go on "guarantees" that he won't be a problem; but Nawaz being the snake that he is fisted Bajwa and now IK is regretting being cajoled by Bajwa into releasing Nawaz and giving Bajwa an extension. The biased Judiciary passing sentences in favor of these corruption kings don't help as well.

It wasn't IK that let him go. He was sent through compromised judiciary.

It was his decision that let him go in the end; even if the establishment cajoled him into doing so.

He should have told the court that people die in jails all the time and if it is Nawaz's time so be it.

They cannot fix the system with less than 2-3rd majority. They tried by introducing the bill in NA but didn't got passed.

A lot can be done now with joint sessions passing legislation. Electoral reform doesn't need 2/3. Judicial, forces etc reforms don't need 2/3. Only constitutional changes requires 2/3.

Imran Khan should now change all laws that are possible with simple majority and then campaign for 2/3 majority in next elections

so no chance of 18th amendment being removed. but presidential system is possible with simple majority?

Imran Khan should now change all laws that are possible with simple majority and then campaign for 2/3 majority in next elections

Steps:
1. Pass legislations / reforms for ECP, Judiciary etc
2. Call Referendum for Presidential System (simple majority of Joint Session required for this call)
3. If Referendum results in No majority, then call for fresh elections and ask for 2/3 for this Parliamentary System to continue with major reforms (including undoing 18th)

so no chance of 18th amendment being removed. but presidential system is possible with simple majority?

Presidential System only possible via Referendum as per my understanding. Removal of 18th with 2/3 only.

This is not only blatantly incorrect assumption, you're spouting conspiracy theories without evidence.

There is no undercurrent of economic and social collapse, this is literally just your own imagination.

There is no grand conspiracy to keep IK in power.

There is, however, ample evidence that IK and PTI continue to be popular with a majority of Pakistanis.
By losing in all the bye electiond

Nope things are not that simple. Have you forgotten the days before he was allowed to run away?
