لاہور(مانیٹرنگ ڈیسک) الیکشن کمیشن آف پاکستان نے کہا ہے کہ این اے 122 میں دھاندلی کی تحقیقات کرنے والے کمیشن نے ووٹوں کی گنتی نہیں کی مگر یہ بات سامنے آ گئی ہے کہ انتخابی عمل کے دوران بد انتظامی ضرور ہوئی تھی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق حکام کا کہنا تھا کہ الیکشن میں دھاندلی ہوئی یا نہیں اس کا حتمی فیصلہ تو انتخابی ٹربیونل ہی کرے گا لیکن اگر نتائج پر اثر پڑے تو اس بد انتظامی کو دھاندلی کا ہی نام دیا جاتا ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ 30ہزار بیلٹ پیپرز کی کاؤنٹر فائلزموجود نہ ہونا ایک بڑی بد انتظامی ہے تاہم اس حلقے میں صرف آٹھ ہزار ووٹوں کافرق تھا۔ حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ انتخابی عملے نے اپنے فرائض کی ادائیگی میں غفلت سے کام لیا اور ٹربیونل ان کو سزا دینے کا حق رکھتا ہے۔​

Complete report regarding the recounting of votes in NA-122 has been submitted today (Monday) before the Election Tribunal.

Judge Kazim Malik of the election tribunal along with Judge Ghulam Rasool Awan of the inquiry commission on Monday have submitted the inquiry report regarding the recounting of votes in the constituency NA-122.

The report comprises of as many as 42 pages. It states that at least 1,80,115 votes have been declared valid out of which National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq got as many as 92,393 votes while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan got at least 83,542 votes. A total of at least 4,180 votes were cast in favour of other candidates.

The report also states that at least 3,642 votes have not been verified. As many as 23,525 counter files lack signatures and stamps while at least 2,693 counter files lack signatures of the staff. As many as 750 votes do not have the stamps of the presiding officer. At least 806 votes do not match the serial numbers of the counter files in the Form 14. Moreover, at least 1,395 votes do not have the signatures of the staff members.

However, the tribunal has set up the next hearing of the case regarding rigging in the constituency NA-122 on January 17.

These all things are also required for a valid vote. Evidently they are not present.

Ye to wohi baat ho gai, Gillani wasn't ready to resign after getting a one minute punishment in supreme court because he was playing over semantics it is just symbolic until SC had to dispose him.
