Myth destroyed by Indians themselves..

Exactly!! the baby steps.. One good approach of Careem is employing women.. A nation without strong female section in business wont gonna make a good progress eventually.

They are. Apart from back office they are also employing them as drivers aka captains. I took a ride twice with women captains/drivers using their service even though I was a male. However, usually they usually allocate the female drivers to customers of same gender.

Pakistanis are generally involved in a lot of SMEs. However, this sector is under reported. FBR is cracking down on the informal sector so that majority of the economy is documented.

I do agree that we should use tech/digitization to get major share of the gig economy/remote working so that married women with families can contribute from home as well.

Indians don’t understand that the CEO of the giant corporation is actually a employee of the company. It doesn’t mean that the CEO actually owned that company. In top 500 giant corporations, none of them is Indian... anyway good to see sane Indians correcting Shining India disorder tabar... managing something and building from the scratch and making it as a global giant is completely different thing...

Random people taking pride in other people's achievements because they belong in the same family, country, city, school, university etc. are the most cringiest shit i have ever seen. People who have nothing to show for themselves or have not even a drop of individuality do this. Don't have words to describe how much disgust i have for this mentality.

IMO ... if multi-billionaire owners can trust you to lead their companies to growth in today's tough environment, then you must be damn good at leading a business as a whole. Sure, a CEO is an employee, but he/she is with no doubt the most important one, and a bad CEO can set you back by years (if you're lucky; otherwise, you're gone).

The Indians at the top of the corporate ladder did everything right. Be it coming from the best universities at India, and then fine-tuning their skills at the best universities in the West, and then changing their attitudes, thought, and other old habits in order to match the gora step-for-step and take lead, it's all worth learning.

It's on our own leaders (in education, government, communities, etc) for not doing anywhere near as much work in improving the quality of our education, building corporate networks for young or fresh grads, and other critical steps. Good on the Indians; question is, when will we Pakistanis catch up?
Ever heard the term "house N!ger"? They tend to be more loyal than your own kin... That is why people are placed into positions they may barely qualify for, but ... they in turn become more loyal and zealous in their occupation tending to course correct even inspite of better judgment to the contrary.
