Unfortunately for them, the Indian Army itself has already admitted that "India cannot match China by any conventional or non-conventional means, and the gap is growing larger every day".

Now the Indians will call their own Army a liar.

So the truth is that while India can dream of the Tibet card (which the Dalai Lama already threw away when he recognized Tibet as a part of China)... the much more likely scenario is that China will cut off the "Chicken's neck corridor" and permenantly cut off the entire NE India from their Mainland.

And it will be even worse for them, if the "two-front war" that the Indian Army is always crying about happens, which according to the Indian Army itself is a likely scenario.

India doing so would be extremely counter productive. First of all, China can and will react to it properly and counter the insurgency, reducing it to a pretty manageable level. Then, you can expect serious repercussions with China using a lot of its political and economic leverage to force India's hand or to force them to cut off support to an insurgency.

Indians keep talking about doing this or doing that to stop Pakistan from supporting terrorists, even when India can't really do anything. China, on the other hand, actually can do a lot in such a scenario. The kind of stuff you say about Pakistan would apply to India too, if they decide to go down that path.

Apart from good relation with Sri Lanka,Myanmar, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan;

The fact that Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan could not go against what India interest since China is not powerful enough to save them from wrath of a truly pissed off India.

Along with threat of India joining anti China Pivot of US and exploiting China's problem with it's neighbours. India could also start and run an insurgency in Tibet. India has a Division of Tibet army ( 10,000 strong ) attached as auxillaries. They could start an insurgency on much larger scale than even cave dwelling talibaboons could do.

In it's string of Pearl strategy, China only has a pearl ( gwadar ) and no string.

Run an insurgency in Tibet not only you have zero chance but this will give China a perfect excuse to balkanized entire India, remember this you still have Maoist, UFLA and other insurgent organizations that we can give our support...India for sure will get busted internally.
