Mystery over ancient advanced tools found in India

A stash of thousands of advanced ancient tools have been found in India, dating back well before modern humans were even thought to have been living in Asia.

Scientists believe the stone implements, which may be as old as 385,000 years, could have been fashioned by an archaic species of our hominin ancestors.

But the tools appear to have been made with advanced techniques and feature blades, points and scrapers.

The fossilised remains were discovered by archaeologists from the Sharma Centre for Heritage Education in Chennai who began digging on a site 60km away in 1999, Nature reports.

British Geologist first found stone tools in the same spot in 1863.

The latest dig by archaeologists Kumar Akhilesh and Shanti Pappu excavated more than four metres below the surface, uncovering 7000 stone tools.

To estimate the age of the layers where the tools were found, scientists used a technique known as luminescence dating, which shows up how long ago the crystals in the layers saw light.

The tools are the oldest Middle Stone Age artefacts ever found in India. Before then, the oldest tools dated up to 140,000 years ago.

The oldest fossilised remains of modern humans were found in Morocco and are thought to be up to 350,000 years old.

But modern humans are not thought to have migrated outside Africa until about 185,000 years ago.

But modern humans are not thought to have migrated outside Africa until about 185,000 years ago.

Yup. selective breeding since ancient time have given us almost all the food that we eat today. Be it rice and maize from wild grass, or pet dogs from some wolf like animal. These don't look like tools at all..these are some random stones.. and you don't need to dig that far, we can find such irregular shaped stones spread across every country...
The only claim they can make is about their age but rest is just speculation.

Why? we need to clarify... these stones, as shown in the pic in OP, do not look like tools at all. So how come they reach a conclusion that these are the so called advanced tools? About their age they claim to have used luminescence dating which we can trust.

How are they advanced tools? Do these emit some laser light upon touching or what... Stones found at bottoms of rivers in mountain ranges have razor sharp blades due the corrosion caused by water.

brah,i am tired of hearing this dwarka story again and again and again.
First it was "Believed" to be 35000 years old,then 12000 years old then 10000 then 8000,only to be found out the temple is 2000 years old.
for god's sake spare us this stories otherwise we will have to keep hearing vedic stories like post #7 and post #8
