I think generally it is a good idea to do periodic thorough medical examinations and check for substance abuse and predisposition to addiction in cadets in order to avoid such an episode even for foreign recruits.

I agree with you. There are few Pakistanis are there who has become thekedar of Saudis and pick up a fight with every country nationals just to defend their saudi brothers even if they are standing on the wrong side.

I can point a few on this forum... Question the Saudis and they go ape shyt .. More loyal than dogs..
