What's new

My first novel released! Need your support!

Hi, can I do that without registering an account there ?
No bro. You need an account for that.
It is good acheivement but it doesnt make any sense, why you choose PDF members for your book rating. You should try from your Indian defence forum. Our experince with indians are not so good , after recent fake news incident from india about us , It looks so fishy.
Look Mate. We all love our own country. I don't have any issue if you love Pakistan and I can understand.
But our personal life and life struggles are the same. It is the only thing all human have common. So this novel is all about our life and love. Plz don't spin it.
What is the novel about? Let me take a guess, a manual how to hate Pakistan on PDF.
No mate.. I don't write hate. it is all about our life and love.

Nice to hear that, congrats bro....

By they way how do you do to get it published ?? Do you use Indian or US publisher ??? Can you give us story about the effort you do to make the publisher agree to publish your book ??

I need to ask this since my sister also has finished writing a novel but get difficulty to find any publisher that is willing to publish her book

My friend also has made a novel in English but can only put it on a free website that any one can read freely

Why don't you try Amazon, kindle version of the novel, Just get the book out there, and once it has some sales behind it, I'm sure local publishers would be more willing to publish.

My brother published few books that way.
Next book about Poligamy, how about that @The BrOkEn HeArT 8-)

I suggested to him an audio book version once he has sales of about one year. I think audio books can also be a paid product, yes ?

I do not know much about audiobooks, but I think there is more work and effort involved with audiobooks, and it helps if you already have some recognition.
Plus, we don't know which language it is written in, if English then it would have to be very good, if in Indonesian than i don't know the audiobook market for the Indonesian language.

Kindle route is pretty easy, she can also write short stories, just to get her name across the Kindle range.

Yes and an important thing is a good voice artist. When I used to listen to BBC World Service radio until about ten years ago they had a Monday to Friday 15 minute reading of a book. Works like Dracula, Report on an Unidentified Space Station, The day of the Jackal. The readings were wonderful. One of their readers was Benedict Cumberbatch who has a deep voice and language skills quite suited to such readings.

I was talking about our Indian brother The Broken Heart. :)

Oh right,
yeah, that certainly sounds like a good idea for him, and India does have large reading market, Audio books are growing too from my understanding.

Thanks bro, I will inform my sister right away, but it is still in In Indonesian language. She actually has a very good English (she is working in law firm focused on foreign investors). Maybe it will be more successful to enter English speaking market. Indonesian people preference now is more on internet and movies coming from satellite TV or Netflix, less people read books now although Indonesia has the most published books in the region.

Yup, actually my grand father also do poligamy with my grand mother become his youngest wife (he has three wife). Despite the youngest, his children coming from my grand mother are the most successful and my grand mother also is the most fertile, she has 7 kids.

Congrats @The BrOkEn HeArT . I will try to buy the book in the coming months if it is available in offline bookshops.

And wow, you are an Assistant Director in Bollywood ! You should relate your experiences here.

And one thing about your book. In a year or so, after you have earned satisfactorily from the book, you can ask an English language voice artist and turn your book into an audio book.
so he make movies like ghadder border and LOC

I think in olden days, if you had some influence or money it was more common to have more then one wife, man's world right lol, not any more, thank god. I am happy with equality.

My grandfather day 3 wives in all, although only 2 at a time lol. He was among the largest landowners of his area, and he was known storyteller, apparently women would die on his voice lol, sadly never got to meet him as he died before my fathers marriage. I was much closer to my step grandmother then my actual grandmother, may God bless them all, especially my step grandmother, Ameen.

I think about writing sometimes, but there's a lot of emotional effort involved, your emotions get twisted and tested hard I think, that part puts me off.
