my experience in the Tunisian revolution 2010-2011

me i go on 2 events :
1 was local very local ( the city i live , that she don't get a lot events )
it was school sit-in it starts at 4 pm ( tunisian time + 1 GMT ) we started to sing the national anthem and say other revolution words then the school director come to us and order us to get out first no one want to go out then he says that there nothing is out then when we go out we find the riot police in our right but they don't do any thing they kept flowing us to a circular crossroad in that they were 100 m away , so they suddenly the start chasing us they get Toyota 4X4 i kept running for 250 to 400 miter i guess then i went into hiding in the house

2 was a state march we started from the school to another secondary school then we went to university to gather protesters then we want to state governmental building then to workers Union building for inspiration then i get tired so to home ( total i marched over 12 KM )

Welcome to the forum---I am excited to see a tunisian on this forum---. I don't know much, but the fruit vendor made your nation a very proud nation.

But I will tell you what---your leader---as much corrupt as he may have been---he still had some character left in him to leave the country right away without destroying it---when looking at egypt, libya, syria, iran, yemen---.

he was just simple dictator but his wife made him a thief and big dictator

I fear for the future of Tunisia, looking at how the "Islamists" are taking over that country; the way they have taken over Libya, Egypt; & what is currently going on in Syria, Yemen & Iran.
