What's new

Mustafa Kamal lashes out at MQM chief Altaf in dramatic press conference

New Pandora box has been opened
Since independence some thirty Pakistani politicians have been assassinated. Until Qadri was hung, it had been fifty years since Pakistan had convicted and carried out sentence against a political murderer.

So maybe what we're seeing isn't Pandora's box being opened. Maybe what we're seeing is the result of demons being stuffed back into her box.

@Oscar - Need your detailed analysis on this. PS - i like the guy and i hope he is going to to live and serve the flag he is holding.

Mustafa Kamal did a difficult task to expose Terrorism intent in MQM hopefully more peaceful Karachi residents like him are protected and given chance to form a peaceful political party away from MQM and PPP's military style in governence

All hands applause to him to expose dangerous Altaf , raw's agent

:pakistan:

Its is duty of Military (forget PPP and sindh government) take out MQM who refuse to denounce Altaf

Do u really think he'll succeed? Yes, he is popular but jab powers nhi milengi city k kaam karne k liye tou yeh bi kuch nahi kar payega aur hero se zero ho jayega....

I don't think he ll make that much of a dent to be honest, he's still being backed establishment and this always makes people have a soft spot for MQM.

A.H is definitly is mad and destroying MQM but the alternatives that the establishment tries to prop up lsose because no one trusts the establishment after their experiment with Haqiqi. Even now I don't think I will support this guy after talking to someone a bit more knowledgeable about his sudden appearance...

Establishment or no establishment. It is time start supporting anyone who can really work for Karachi. And the fact is Mustafa Kamal alone has done more for Karachi than whole of MQM in past 25-30 years.

And do ask that "more knowledgeable" guy to travel from Liaqatabad to Sadar in W11. He would start supporting MK after that.

Syed Mustafa Kamal

[1] Kamal was born on December 27, 1971 in Karachi where he studied until his Intermediate examinations and left for Malaysia.

[2] In Malaysia, he received as Associate Diploma in Business Executive Studies.

[3] He later received an MBA in Marketing from the Aberystwyth University in United Kingdom.

Political Career

In 2003, Kamal became the Provincial Minister for Information Technology for the Sindh Province of Pakistan.[1] He held this position until 2005, when he was selected to become the second nazim of the city of Karachi, succeeding Naimatullah Khan.

He championed the role of IT in the transformation of the city’s fortunes, after learning from his experiences in the IT Ministry. He envisaged the city becoming an Asian super-hub borrowing from examples of Israel and its dominant regional economy.[3] At times, Kamal had been quoted as targeting development efforts on par with those of Dubai. Under his leadership, the city administration received acclaims and accolades, both internally and externally, as Kamal was feted by diplomats and internal urban policy-makers as a young and confident city leader.

Bro I respect your views. But how does the moment a new party emerges it becomes widespread that the establishment is supporting it. Did we see ISI give the money to Mustafa Kamal? Did we see ISI give money to PTI? This is all reckless speculation as I see it.

It seems like a convenient excuse to continue supporting the old status qou without for a minute thinking what voting in these parties did to us. Each party has its ghosts and new blood is surely good. For example PPP supported a man named Mian Mithoo responsible for the Rinkle Kumari case. PMLN had an alliance with LeJ/ASWJ this election and MQM men like Saulat Mirza have given statements saying they were funded by India and spread violence in Karachi. Isn't any new party better than what we have right now.

After reading this thread, i start to think this name can make wonders. :)

Hey @Armstrong you seem to be at least a half wonder. :D
Is it because the name is similar to Kemal Ataturk?

Mustafa Kamal is like a breath of fresh air. I would vote for him anytime. I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
