I don't like Prez. Obama much but we do have one thing in common: we both experienced a childhood with Muslims as good neighbors and classmates and thus have higher expectations of Muslim moral conduct than is seen in Pakistan today. IK is the opposite and has lower expectations for Muslims like the Taliban than he has for other peoples: it's O.K. in his book to criticize the U.S. for drone strikes targeting Talibs but the Talibs get a free pass for targeting little girls. No, IK is NOT the "obama of PK".

I listened to IK's speech posted here. First time I ever listened to him. Very noble thoughts. Unfortunately not very realistic about his coreligionists. Too bad his sentiments are not shared by enough of the powerful in Muslim societies. Muslim inspired and propagated terrorism is the primary source of violent conflict in the world today.

Most "propagated terrorism" are supported by America or America's allies in the middle east such as Saudi Arabia either directly or indirectly. You can't ignore this fact. otherwise terrorism will never vanish. Also radical Islam is being promoted by America's ally (saudi Arabia) in the middle east, it's replacing the moderate Islam. Again you can't ignore this fact.
