Actually true they don't store your images after you have gone through this procedure but what if something is detected? i am sure they will have an option to store image in that case for proof? right?

for example they detect a man having a gun underneath his trousers........ i am sure they will have an option to store those images right? so that means usually the picture is deleted but if the officer wants they can also store images of any person? and what if they store images of womens without their concent and who were doing nothing wrong

This has become mandatory after the Saudi Crown Prince was injured by a AQ fanatic who was searched twice physically as well as by metal detectors.

He just went one step further and shoved the plastic explosive up his anus and fooled everybody.

There have been credible reports that its a matter of time that a explosives surgically implanted will be used to explode an aircraft.

These cannot be detected by physical searches.

These woman should either submit to it or walk or tavel by ship.

I think it is a great invention for security. I think only women should look at women because it offends Muslim women and I don't want dirty old Charlie or watermelon eating Casius looking at my respectable mother or sisters for a bomb in her body. I don't mind in my case but it is disrespect to Muslim women. The sooner we lose our self respect the quicker we will all be on trains to Auschwitz. Thankfully the women declined their tickets and made airport security think of alternate ways to deal with them in future.

Not everybody is like you......... everybody has their own way of thinking there are few things that you might not find offtensive but others do. I do not have any problem by passing through that machine but might object when similar is the case for my sister and there are millions of Muslims and peoples from other religions too would object on it. This is clearly a violation of Human rights if you don't find being violated you are most welcome to go through this procedure but you can't force everybody to accept this decision easily

If peoples can blow off the aircrafts they can also blow off the buses too so next time bring another machine on every single bus stop and trains and private coaches and all means of transportation

how do you know Dr. Watermelon eating Khan checking private parts of women in pakistan is any better than Charlie. BTW ever passed thru Heathrow? Ur more likely to find a Khan at the machine than a Charlie.

I seriously cant understand the big FUSS !!!

Going through a scanner is a RULE by the airport authority/security. They are responsible to ensure the safety of the aircraft and its passenger.

If someone thinks HE/SHE can not obey that rule ( for whatever reason) should stay back and should not intend to fly. Simple.

There is a limit of security measures too........ if despite all these security measures still 2-4 bomb blasts takes place or the aircrafts are blown up will the americans bring another idea of asking everybody to travel Naked only? Nobody is allowed to wear clothes?????

In case of legal immgigrants if NO one wants to go through this uncivilized method of searchin he/she can avoid going to UK, US and so on.

BUT the case in discussion here is of the women who were to fly out of UK. So does it mean they cant fly out of UK at any cost untill they go through this check???

What about those who came there before this check was made compulsory and now they want to fly back to their countries

I feel this machine is offensive, but necessary. The authorities didn't bring it into effect to insult anyone or to look at naked people, but because with increasing terrorist threat, it is a necessity. And come on, most people would have had some time or other where they had to go to the doctor and reveal their private parts (eg.giving birth). So just treat it like that. The people manning the machines will be professionals, not perverts who watch it like ****. And as members said, it won't be too bad if women are scanned by female officers.

So in short,

will I be uncomfortable about my loved ones going thru the machine.....yes.

do i think its necessary.....yes




I don't mind going thru those machines as long as it is NOT a man manning the machines. My body is for women only!
