Here is my open challenge to any Pakistani who thinks this woman did anything wrong:

how many so called ' god made laws' do you want to know have been 'broken' by Pakistan while most of you simply take it for granted? For example:

1) have you guys called ALL women in Pakistan that do not wear the prescribed veils with hundreds even appearing on global tv, not muslim?

2) Has the so called Islamic state of Pakistan stopped charging or paying interest on loans?

3) Has Pakistan banned making intoxicants including alcoholic drinks or has it at least stopped benefitting from sale proceeds & taxes of such goods?

4) Has Pakistani military banned alcohol in its cadre?

Will any of you have the guts to openly call all these people non-muslim? That'd btw include almost 99% of your military.

Do that and then come talk to us about this poor woman! or STHU

Good if you don't care about Islam, and I said already as an Indian you have each and every right to decide Indian matters, but don't associate Islam with it, the second you mention or attach Islam to this, it means billion plus people, numerous countries, multiple continents, so that does not remain Indian any more.

We are not following Islam, so amending Islam is not necessary. That is for you Muslims to worry about. Not for us Indians (including Indian Islam followers aka Indian Muslims). Indian Muslims follow Indian Islam and our jurisdiction is restricted to that. We are content with that. For the rest, the authenticity and all - that's your headache. Not ours.

On a personal level I don't consider Islam to be a religion - it is a military imperialistic (even fascist) doctrine to subjugate people and maintain law and order. It is completely false and so can't afford to accommodate anything else. It can't grant people the luxury of reasoning and critical thinking. Free thinking is anathema otherwise the carefully constructed house of cards would have fallen by now. It makes sense for such a harmful ideology to not tolerate anything that stands at odds with it. That explains all the actions of the devout followers of the ideology.

Indian Muslims have by far remained immune to this.

Let me tell you something this woman can worship Durga or Kali or Hanuman or whatever, and after that call herself a Muslim, but does Islam after all this recognise her as a Muslim? You can ask this from any shia, sunni, ahmedi, black, or white, answer will be same.

We are not following Islam, so amending Islam is not necessary. That is for you Muslims to worry about. Not for us Indians (including Indian Islam followers aka Indian Muslims).
