What can one expect when their government does not represent their people? Pakistan has been a country where most of the citizen's sentiments have been largely ignored. I still don't understand why you guys can't see the difference between "India" and "Indians", or rather "Pakistan" and "Pakistanis". Being a Pakistani, I can tell you most of us aren't anti-western or anti-indian. Most of us are just anti-imperialism, anti-hypocrisy, and against double standards.

It's just ironic to me that Indians love to point the finger at Pakistan or even Muslims, but when there's an issue regarding India, most of you throw tantrums like children.

Its' not your govt which played with West rather it was your Army and intelligence agencies.. Yahya started it all.. all your governments were mere faces to give democratic look to dictator rule of your army.. your army simply sold you to who ever came with its bags full yet I find most of the Pakistanis in awe of its Army/Intelligence agency.. so what do you wanna say you love your army but don't support their action when all they did till now is to extend paid service to outsiders?

Pakistan will obviously talk about things that will benefit Pakistan, just like Indians will do for India. Talking about the plight of Indian Muslims in 2002 Gujarat, or in Kashmir fits the bill. Talking about what is happening in Xinjiang or Bahrain will not. It's pretty simple.

The 2002 riots was a sad accident, but what do expect when Muslim borthers burn alive women and children in a train compartment. Will the Majority give ladoos to the one who instigated the riots. The riot was a larger accident of a smaller planned incident at godhra.

Yep, and what they get in return, 58 hrs of community service and delibratly failed in their college exams. There is a way of doing thing to protest and these kids do not have the statemanship to become leaders later

It is also interesting that they choose to do their protest at a Univ. California campus, perhaps the most tolerant and friendly type of campus to their point of view in the US. Perhaps they thought that would give them "protection". As is always the case, you can protest and break the law to bring heightened press attention to your cause. But, you still have to face the consequences of breaking the law. Martin Luther King went to jail numerous times.

I would advise that the Muslim Student Associations in Texas not try similar tactics.
