then under what law this Muslim couple adopted Hindu kids and what about child’s right to inherit ? Hindu adoptions and maintenance act should not be applicable to those practising Islam. I think India recently allowed minoritioes i.e Muslims and sikhs to adopt kids with ful rights

Our holiest duties as a human either support underprivileged kids education or adopt them ... You too agreed to lend financial support for such cause ..... I donated some amount for the education of such kids last year...

I think this is the first instance in which court allowed guardianship from people of another religion. They were not adopted as such. Their parent's inheritnace is a substantial sum which they will get once they turn 25 (its in the same news).

I am pretty sure that their relation in his lifetime with his muslim friend was beyond religious boundaries.

The children had their chance with the relatives as well---. It is better to be in a loving home with non relatives rather than an abusive upbringing with the relatives.

The news does not say how the parents passed away.

There is no meaning in this so called blood relationship.
Relation and relatives that we got through our deeds and friendship would be more worthy and noble than these so called legal blood relationship.

Not abt the gentleman mentioned in news report, generally speaking. Why ppl adopt kids only when they dont have kids of their own, why cant more and more ppl who cud afford and most importantly are rewarded with compassion and love despite having their own kids ,adopt a child or children?

We always used to hear abt charity that its big deal if u are rich and u donate but its even more magnanimous of u when u have less wealth, meager income but yet u donate. But when it comes to adopting child the same above thing seems to go in a different order. U dont have kids u will willingly adopt, but if u have then no love(no love not in a literal sense,in the sense of adoption) for those kids who are orphan , needy.

I do know adoption is a very long and tediou paperwork process in west and mainly usa, but those who wanna jump thru these hoops cuz they want to give back to the society, they simply just do.

Supporting financially could substitute the love u cud give a human being?
