Musharraf's Trial Should Take Place in Quetta or Dera Bugti

Conducting Musharraf's trial for murder of Nawab Sahib Bugti in his luxury farmhouse 'prison' would be a slap on the faces of the people of Balochistan and provide further propaganda fodder to the separatists.

This hypocrisy would further alienate people of Balochistan. The dictator who tormented the people of Balochistan, murdered Nawab Sahib and destroyed Balochistan peace, giving him VIP treatment even in his sham trial would further worsen the problem instead of some pacification.

Therefore this brutal dictator should be presented in a Dera Bugti court like any common man and should be given a chance to defend himself. If innocent should be allowed to go and if found guilty should be punished accordingly.

Therefore all Pakistanis should demand this as this is the demand of the people of Balochistan and is necessary for the pacification and satisfaction of the people of Balochistan because of his crimes against Balochistan in general and against Nawab Sahib and his Bugti tribe in particular.

During last elections... it was Musharraf made PML which won from Baluchistan, people voted in his name... Bugti's have many evidences of working for RAW.
Bugti in Switzerland.. regularly meet RAW officials and Indian embassy officials.

So Nawab Akbar Bugti, a declared Sardar who himself was the biggest hurdle in the process of providing schools and hospitals to his own people,

is now "Nawab Sahib".

The guy who ate all the development funds meant for the poor for his tribe,

is now "Nawab Sahib".

Sardars are good for nothing but its how things are in baloch society. The head of tribe is respected and loved by all no matter how much useless he is when it comes to welfare of his tribesmen.....you have to keep these sardars happy....musharaf was unfamiliar with baloch mindset and dealt with nawab akbar bugti's demands/black mailing in fauji manner and sparked the worst baloch rebellion in the history.

It is not too different from Altaf Mota Chor Bhatta Khor, where he is holding Karachi hostage and gets money from the Federal government. No fing development in the last 5 years.


FATA is another example. Where big Maliks take money (government development funds) and eat everything. No f^ing development for so many decades.

The whole nation respects Baloch sardars. And out of 16 major tribes+sardars, only 1 or 2 are trouble makers.


It is about time we focused on the other 14-15, and deal with them to build roads, schools, and clinics in their areas.

Let the people of Pakistan and espcially Balochistan see who is opposing the schools, roads, and clinics.


It is time we move away from discussing despotic Sardars

and focus on providing things for the common Balochi.

That's what matters.

Malaks of FATA do not recieve any funds. Its political agent from beaurocracy who only recieves funds....and he keeps it for himself. So dont compare FATA with Balochistan which is under pakistani law.

You are mistaking tribalistic balochistan for your karachi.......every region of pakistan has its own properties.
The sulemani baloch tribes are leaders of baloch nation, khans of qalat, marris, bugtis, mengals etc are more important in the affairs of baloch nation than mekranis of south....and just check out the views of mekranis, they are following sulemani balochs.

Does it really matter where the trial takes?

I have my problems with some of his actions (ex. allowing UAE to sublease their base to the US, NATO transit, Red Mosque assault, etc...) during his term as President but I personally don't think this guy is going to be able to get a fair trial considering his history with the judiciary.

I really hated him before at one time but he is more of a man than Nawaz or Zardari considering he returned to the country without any guarantees to his safety.

Imo he honestly did what he thought was best for the country and its people and to his credit his rule saw one of the fastest periods of economic growth uplifting millions out of poverty and probably saving their lives.
