I do not understand burning jeeps and vans serves what purpose, when will Indians learn to have a civilized protest and please try to compare yourself to civilized world.

Every person involved in this violance should be arrested and brought to book and this should be applicable to everyone who does this irrespective of who thy are. The problem is in India, in the name of vote banks no action is taken and police is asked to not act. This has created this situation.

Funny you should mention that about having Muslim friends, I studied in Mumbai and I know what Muslims in Mumbai are all about, and I did have a few "Muslim friends" there who used to help me with some of their "not so friendly contacts" if u know what I mean. One particular college friend became a business partner of mine who went on to cheat us. This incident happened right after college so I made it a point to avoid unsavory kinds in business.

About the Gujarat riots and the Mumbai riots what do you think is the main difference ( both were incited by Muslims)? and, what about the numerous bomb blasts, terrorist incidents which community is the cause of it through out the world? The simple fact is Muslims cannot coexist with any other religion or ethnicity - India is secular and okay for the simple reason that Hindus are in Majority, I cannot even fathom what would have happened to Hindus, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists or any other religious group if Muslims were in some kind of majority in India. Most probably would have been killed or would have fled with whatever they could save up and it would have digressed into a sh!thole like numerous examples we have all over our world and this is what worries most Indians about the future. Please come up with one example of a Muslim majority country were minorities are not oppressed or treated as second class citizens. When you people are in a minority you talk of equal rights and secularism. The moment numbers start working in your favor you start killing others.

And, those scum who were rioting in Mumbai were flying Pakistani flags, lots of Muslim ghetto's in Mumbai still burst firecrackers when Pakistan wins a cricket match against India - there's your secularism and patriotism.

This is common for followers of all religion in some part of the world or other.....I don't understand one concept.

We pray to Bhagwan,Allah,Jesus.. we can call by any name but in all religion we pray for our well being ,good health and forgiveness.Our belief gives us a inner strength to work hard and move forward with the conviction that a better tomorrow awaits us.We all know we have a caring loving and forgiving God to take care of us and nothing is impossible for him however impossible it may be to us.

Then why do we have to be so insecure trying to protect our beliefs.Why do we doubt the invincibility of our GODs.Or is God and his religion a excuse for a section of people to mobilise and motivate people to behave in a particular way.

The holy Quran,Geeta or Bible are nothing but just books made of paper what makes them special is the what is written in there.Those eternal truths can not be proved wrong or undone by destroying a book made of paper printed in some printing press which also prints many other things.The font,colour of ink or the style of writing will make no difference.

The only difference will be is when the people of the particular faith practice the writings of the holy book in full and total and not selectively for their or a select groups personal gains.GOD needs no protection he is great to protect all of you alone just trust him and follow his teachings the world will be a better place.No GOD will approve of death ,destruction,pain, agony or any action that in unbecoming of his followers.

Friends believe in GOD and not self appointed contractors of GODs faith.You will be answerable to the almighty and ignorance of his teachings will be no excuse.

Dont take me wrong ? But what have the majority Muslims done to assuage the feelings that have been inflamed by the actions of a section of the minority in the last few weeks ? I mean all we see are just attempts at deflecting the blame and not taking responsibility for it. 50K Muslims came out in Mumbai and went on a rampage. Did we see a fraction of them coming out on streets actually condemning that ? No. Instead we see only pointing fingers and blame games. We see communal pigs like Asaduddin Owaisi threatening violence and terrorism right from the hallowed grounds of the Parliament. In such a situation, from the perspective of a Hindu who has already undergone one Partition, what else do you expect ?

And yes, I, like many others do have a nagging feeling of what would happen if India were to loose its wide Hindu majority. With a official population percentage of 14% such things are happening and it worries me what would be the situation if it were to become like 25%. Are we looking at a second Partition ? That is what unsettles me.
