Mumbai attacks could be guided by Indian handler: Indian minister - People's Daily Online February 05, 2010

The Mumbai attacks staged by 10 Pakistani terrorists in November 2008 could have been guided by an Indian handler, said Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram Thursday.

Chidambaram told local TV channel NDTV that investigators had known for a long time that there was a handler in the Mumbai attacks who could be an Indian.

But the minister also said he was not 100 percent sure that an Indian national was involved in the attacks.

"When we say he could be an Indian, he could be somebody who acquired Indian characteristics. He could have been infiltrated into India and lived here long enough to acquire an Indian accent, familiarity with Indian Hindi words or he could be somebody who exfiltrated from India to Pakistan and was adopted by the militants there," he said.

India has held Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Toiba group responsible for the Mumbai attacks, in which more than 170 people were killed and over 300 injured.

Pakistan admitted that part of the attacks was plotted on its territory.

Yes there is a high possibility that an Indian handler was also involved in the brutal act. Extremists have no country, no religion nothing, they should be just hanged till death..

Though it is really embarrasing, if true, that we have citizens like them also..
