Brahmos missile is almost unstoppable . I don't know which SAM can stop even 30% of brahmos strike. I don't think anyone has developed such system. Our best bet is improve our missile technology such radar evading , Terrain hugging missiles, & Improve MIRV technology.. MIRV is the best way to challenge their multi layer defense system. Jamming & evading rafar also plays important role, we must spend time in counter tactics & this technology .
We should try to get help of China too.

Same Systems that are the basis of Chinese air Defense Network.They are even testing their home based system called Akash or something. In fact we don't have Intermediate Range Air Defense Capabilities, Until recently our best shot was SPADA-2000, Only recently medium range systems like Buk based HQ-16 arrived in Pakistan.

What is Air defence? That needs to be defined first.

Pakistani air defence means AAM in air and Indian Air defence means SAMs on ground. That is the difference in doctorin.
