Multan Airport is The Best Airport in Pakistan

Reviving a Thread; with talk of upgrading the airports, has anyone considered public transportation to these airports; or at least shuttle buses.

If these airports are outside of city centers, the passengers can not be fully utilized for the benefit of the city they are arriving in... tourism, local services, easily connecting on to near by locations for even more tourism

for example, with the plans for lahore's airport modernization I have not seen any information (please let me know if anyone has any info on it) of a link to the metro system or train station or bus terminals. we should be planning multimodal hubs so these expensive facilities can get maximum density/usage, causing land value to increase; from which government earns some money, and can spend to improve the infrastructure that feeds into these terminals; a virtuous circle

look at london, dubai, thailand, or any other train station, bus terminal, airport run like a public-private partnership

Nice International Airport , Looks fantastic

Fairly Large capacity as seen from outside the airport view

Nice elevated roof , nice comforting feeling lot of room in building very similar to many of North American airports

Only thing missing is perhaps the eating lounges / cafe for refreshment beside the waiting area. They should perhaps remove the divider walls , in this image above as passengers sometimes are dropped at wrong front gate and have to walk internally to the counters otherwise a fairly large entrance / passenger processing like many international airports

Impressive stuff did not knew we were building Multan along side Rawalpindi International Airport

Nothing special in it, too small with minimal facilities - Multan is some sort of capital of South Punjab - it deserved much better than this, Yes it is clean because it is new that's only plus.

Well most airports in North America look similar to this airport, a bit practical design gets City recognized Airport etc creates some jobs.

The Launch of Multan Airport is almost like a Bonus project

Nice bright interior and very roomy seating in waiting area just perfect

Just need some planned out cafe / sandwhich stations
Luckily the airport is quite large and easy to add some of these feature items for visitors

Quite easy to create a chain of 10-15 such cabins to provide some service while passengers are waiting for travel
