Just out of curiosity what does Ambani do with his wealth? Does he help the poor? He’s surrounded by shanty towns, maybe pay for higher schooling of children and the medical fees of those not fortunate.
Very often such rich types couldn’t give a toss. Many wealthy Americans have pledged and invested massive amounts of their wealth to help the poor.

About USD 100 million Annual.
Most Entrepreneurs who build their own companies no matter how small, do believe in giving back to society because you become wealthy only when you add value to others lives. people who inherit / corrupt don't necessarily follow this.

Shanty Towns, Not much anyone can do, lot of problems- Bureaucracy, Builders, People everyone wants their golden ticket, property prices ranging USD 700 to 1500 per Sq.Ft with FSI 1.33 to 5 when shanties are razed to construct sky scrapers, the damn calculator throws too many zeros for parties involved to reach deal

@Chhatrapati @TheGreatMaratha @Surya 1

What difference it makes to your lives if Mukesh Ambani is sixth richest in the world, or even becomes 1st richest someday?
We and other Indians get to have the options of using these products and services. Other than that nothing much.
Also, it seems you didn't even understand my points. If you think I'm sort of a big fan of him, then you are highly mistaken.

Look at the title and look where this "seasoned Indian member" has ended up at.
Your code of conduct has just been zapped down the toilet. What a waste of time? If your senior members are putting moronic posts up - what chance have the rest got?

Just because a little indian has become wealthy gives some Indians a reason to stick their 32 inch chests out? What a weird scenario? Well done Mukesh - hope you give part of your wealth to the starving in India today.

At least he is showing that indian so called "Muslims" are just as much of an enemy to Pakistan and Pakistanis as are indian hindus and sikhs.

If you are a shareholder like me :partay:
either-ways Reliance adds value to lives of people, society.

How many Reliance shares do you actually hold to qualify for the "trickle-down" from Mukesh Ambani adding a few extra billion dollars to his personal kitty. Sure if that's your only occupation, it's fair as everyone has to earn a living. Remember this story is about his personal fortunes (including his personal shareholder wealth).

Don't you think it will be better off for ALL Indians to benefit from cryptocurrency without government regulation rather than Ambani making his billions (no Modi government official will question his company's methods).

Can you buy a chai anywhere in India using Bitcoins yet? I don't think so.

Elon Musk :
As of July 14, 2020 his net worth was estimated at $60.9 billion and he is listed by Forbes as the 9th-richest person in the world.

Does Pakistan not have vulgar display of wealth disparity, a few rich and the remaining middle class or poorer ? Since when did Pakistan become a socialist welfare state ?

Not as vulgar as indian so called "Muslims" becoming a slave race of indian hindus and sikhs and being genocided by them too........:azn:

That only makes him more money. If at all, you should buy from his competitors. He's made too much money. Others deserve a chance.

Great then I assume you will join a future Maoist movement when there are mass insurrections for bread and milk all over India. :cheesy: You should wear a bandana and join the mobs that plunger the Ambanis at his Antilla apartment, the fat man is a resource hog.

None of the topic discussed here makes any difference in my or anybody's life. What a stupid argument.

You seem very excited about Mukesh Ambani increasing his personal fortunes. Like many Indians are.

In the USA when there is a story that Bill Gates or Jeff Bozos have added more billions, almost no American online congratulates them. They certainly don't celebrate the news.

Mukesh Ambani gets to flaunt his ill begotten wealth by not paying sufficient taxes, benefiting from a cartel that does not pass on the lowest crude oil price benefits to Indian consumers (thanks to his collusion with Modi government). And then he lives in a $1 billion building to mock at all of you.

Indians are so meek and compliant. Indeed the country is best place to hide when you have ill gotten funds.

His personal wealth increases when Reliance performs well as a company. Many Indian citizen Investors like me also gain when the company gains. There are lot of entrepreneurs who are vendor to Reliance, They too make money when Reliance grows.

Bitcoin / cryptocurrency in future, will become reality. But the disparity between rich & poor will always remain unfortunately. The rules which are applicable to Ambani are applicable to every citizen of India, How many put in the effort is the question.

I'm happy that you're making your living off Mukesh Ambani. You should author a book on "trickle down economics"...it will certainly sell many copies....in India :cheesy:

Nobody's hurt. I am just trying to understand the mindsets and motivations of today's India youth.

.
What exactly is the argument in this thread?

Taking pride in which country has higher instances of poverty?

Both countries have significant amounts of poverty. India has more.

All happy? Thread locked.
