Another Lie. Have You researched the Subject ? This is about Point 5353.

You quoted an Indian Source ( that gives a partial story ), Here is another one which elaborates the FULL STORY :

“The enemy occupied Point 5353 as an observation post. In turn, we were in occupation of a feature on the LC. The Pakistani CO established radio contact with CO 16 Gren (commanding officer, 16 Grenadiers) and requested vacation from this feature. We asked him to reciprocate and vacate Point 5353 to which he agreed. However, he reoccupied Point 5353 on 2 August and in retaliation besides occupying the feature vacated by us, 16 Gren was directed to occupy Point 5245 which was southeast of Point 5353. With this event, the war ended in the Mushkoh-Drass sector.”

So Before yo talk about Point 5353 , Read about Point 5245/5240 and 5310.

The video you have posted states that Pakistan lost 600-1000 soldiers/mujahideen during the war,I am trying to say that on each post there were 7-10 soldiers who lacked basic equipment/ration they had no Air/Artillery support and were heavily outnumbered by the Indians,if you watch the videos below you would notice that every Pakistani officer/soldier is stating the same thing that Indians were in hundreds and we were outnumbered !

In every war throughout history, abundant examples of individual heroic achievements, unexpected battle victories by both the fighting sides can be found. But the question should be, if those tactical and psychological gains could have been converted into a comprehensive victory of the war, or at least a face saving stalemate.

If operation KP served Pakistan neither, no diplomatic sympathy from any of it's trusted friends, I see no logic in getting solace from the thoughts of Ifs and Buts. Let us agree that it was another rogue, irresponsible and poorly planned operation that resulted in deaths of thousands of brave fighters from both sides and move on.
