Such clear voice if he only had support of World caliber musicians wow amazing voice

Wonderful Language Bangali one of our national assets no doubt

he certainly deserves recognition from Pakistan on a grand scale for his work he is 1 in million

Strangely enough , I consider all Bangali people are Pakistani

Wonderful man , talented , sang so many songs with so much variety , and always with a smile

TRUE PAKISTANi , he is on same level as singing legends

Modern day singers just do not compare , what he lacked was supporting musicians and orchestra of high calibre but his talent is no doubt amazing

Modern singers write 2-3 songs copy music and call it their album but this guy what a legend , such wonderful voice even after all these years , and can sing any kind of song

I think what Alamgir lacked specially after 70`s was deteriorating quality of musicians in Pakistan and recording studios
If he had professional recording centers and proper orchestra he is one of best singers in Pakistan

Because the guy has versatility and could actually sing

`The Jhankar`era in Pakistan music , with the crazy remix and electronic beats and adding , hall way effect distorted his wonderful singing

His true voice and singing is easily spottible in songs he did in 70`s

While I have was familiar with his song `Meine Tumhari Ghager Se` but clearly he is very talanted man its a shame such a talent is not awarded on National Level for promoting Arts

When he was undiscovered , or just starting one can appreciate his clear clean voice

Its amazing you see joy in his face and also you see what a different society was in Pakistan in 1970`s prior to the mess we know as Afghan war

At one point he gets up and starts to dance even with two kidney failed the man is purely driven by his passion for Music and he gets on stage and music takes over every sense

Umer Shreef used to rip on him a lot. One time he broke his ankle during a stage performence as he was jumping to a song. A kid made his way up there, and Alim Gir was in his jumping frenzy, to avoid landing on the kid, he changed direction and landed on the wrong side, hurting his leg. Umer was like, how long and high was that jump that you saw the kid before landing, figured out you had to change your landing direction and were able to do so. lol.
