So what did India gain by funding MQM? Did they ...
Well, it was BBC that had broken the news of fall of Lahore in 1965, a news that turned out to be wrong and BBC lost her credibility in Pakistan for years to come.
sOBJ didn't claim that he heard and/or read the transcripts of those 'interviews', and neither did I. OBJ is claiming that he was 'informed' that UK authorities 'interviewed' MQM officials and that the claims about being 'funded by India' were made in those interviews.
The question now is whether the source (who provided details about the interviews) is a UK official, multiple UK officials and whether the UK source or sources is credible. That is where OBJ's personal credibility comes into play, and based on his history so far, he's pretty credible.
yes yes
and BBC now works for Pakistan
Uh, no. BBC has recordings of the interviews that they themselves conducted, read the actual article before commenting. Its called a media spin, it a circular argument. Mow the BCC is Quoting a Pakistani official, who himself Quoted a 'MQM leader' of saying it to the UK Authorities. Now, The Pakistani express tribune is Quoting the BBC. The BBC has Plausible deniability. Excellent way to spin . It Was India in Kabul parliament attack, also It is India's involvement in everything that goes wrong In Pakistan.

British authorities held formal recorded interviews with senior MQM officials who told them the party was receiving Indian funding
In the course of those inquiries the police found around £500,000 ($787,350) in the MQM's London offices and in the home of MQM leader Altaf Hussain. That prompted a second investigation into possible money laundering.

what is your point? in this report they don't even mention india or any indian connection with MQM...The UK authorities started investigating the MQM in 2010 when a senior party leader, Imran Farooq, was stabbed to death outside his home in north London.

In the course of the inquiries the UK authorities found a list itemising weapons, including mortars, grenades and bomb-making equipment in an MQM property, according to Pakistani media reports that the BBC believes to be credible. The list included prices for the weapons. Asked about the list, the MQM made no response.
As the UK police investigations have progressed, the British judiciary has been taking an increasingly tough line on the MQM. Back in 2011 a British judge adjudicating an asylum appeal case found that "the MQM has killed over 200 police officers who have stood up against them in Karachi".
Last year another British judge hearing another such case found: "There is overwhelming objective evidence that the MQM for decades had been using violence."

Pakistan's MQM 'received Indian funding' - BBC News
what should I have to say...Before 2005-2006 the training was given to a small number of mid-ranking members of the MQM, the official said.
To claim that an enemy state is funding an established mainstream political party, is nothing but lose talk. There have been allegations of this kind even in the past...& no one was taking 'em quite seriously apart from those within Pakistan who are addicted to conspiracy theories. Only difference this time around is...it appears in an international media outlet. Then again...sources are same as the previous ones! Not much credibility there. Even BBC is playing it safe by putting the onus of the story on to 'Pakistani official' & a leader of the political party in question. What did India gain? Caused a havoc in the major Pakistani city with the help of these turncloaks. Which in turn effected the economy, local business is in tatters. People fled the city en masse.
Fearing for their lives they established businesses in the Gulf states. India's funding helped destabilize Karachi and in turn slowed our economic wheel. Major gains by India by all means.
its pakistan as long as they have power and money they never give a flying shit to countrywhat should I have to say...
The Man which he called Himself as largest enemy of INDIA, He has fought 2+ war with India and He himself called as Commando,
but Also allow and help India and its agencies to work in Pakistan OPENLY just for Money and Power..
That Man is none other than former COAS and President of Pakistan Mr. Pervaiz Musharaf..
Because he knew what MQM is going and whom it is in contact..
MQM's people went to India and get commando training there, and it was all happening down the nose of Musharaf but he support them and he still support them for Political gain..
Ye kehna Galat Nahy Hoga ke..
Former COAS and President SOLD country just for power and money..

Officials in Pakistan's MQM party have told the UK authorities they received Indian government funds, the BBC learnt from an authoritative Pakistani source.
A Pakistani official has told the BBC that India has trained hundreds of MQM militants over the last 10 years.
he arrest of Altaf Hussain prompted unrest in KarachiMeanwhile a Pakistani official has told the BBC that India has trained hundreds of MQM militants in explosives, weapons and sabotage over the last 10 years in camps in north and north-east India.
The claims follow the statement of a senior Karachi police officer that two arrested MQM militants said they had been trained in India. In April Rao Anwar gave details of how the two men went to India via Thailand to be trained by the Indian intelligence agency RAW.
