I think there is no need to call karachiites 'mohajir' anymore. The MQM people got rid off this 'mohajir' label as soon as they came up with 'Muttahida' ideology. But the narrow minded people still consider and call them mohajir which is not justified. There are no more mohajirs in Karachi or any part of country, had there been any, the number would be insignificant. We all are pakistanis, then sindhis then karachiites... then anything else.

you people who is you people!! i am an urdu speaking paksitani! and no one gave us this name until altaf bhai started calling us this! that i know very well! infact i hate pathans,punjabis,balochis or sindhis who are more ethnic then nationalistic! ask anyone did you hear the names mohajir in 60s,70s? NO!! back then bengali was looked down upon!
