LAHORE - Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan Chief, Munawar Hasan has said the people issuing directives for collecting particulars on imams and khatibs of mosques and the ulema were a total failure in spite of being a party in the federal and the provincial government for a long time. While addressing delegations from different parts of the country attending the JI central workshop, he said that ever since the MQM came into being, the people of Karachi had been collecting dead bodies, while extortion and target killings had become a routine.

Very well said.

But the college goon and thuggish behaviour of MQM is inherited from Jamat e Islami IJT which is a very thuggish mafia of Jamaati students.

All these MQM thugs were part of IJT before they created their own student wing APMSO. The IJT terror still continues in the name of Islam predominantly in Punjab university.

I have seen it all - IJT and APMSO. Being the prime witness of MQM birth and their hooliganism. I was a student then.

This is not what you should concentrate on. What you should concentrate on is the fact that the JI is nothing but the indirect, yet willing, political arm of the Taliban. They've done nothing other than skirt over the Malala issue and provide the idealogical breeding grounds for the Talibs.
