LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita Committee met here to discuss the option of quitting the government.

According to sources, the meeting lasted for 11 hours with Rabta Committee Convener Imran Farooq in the chair.

Before the meeting, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain had detailed meeting with all members of Rabta Committee.

The sources confirmed that the committee mulled over many options including parting ways with the government and subsequent situation.

The committee meeting will continue today (Sunday) as well.

Earlier, Governor Sindh Dr Ishratul Ibad met MQM chief to discuss the future course of action.

Ahh... NOT AGAIN. They tried to create the whole drama in the past of how potent they are and they were going to quit the government. They are basically threatening the government because Musharraf probably gave a good speech about their "harkatein" in Karachi! :D
