Moving to China- help required!

Good VPN software can't be cracked and there is no need to crack because you need annual subscription to connect to their server. Free proxies will be either too slow or most probably blocked. So, He has to spend 40-50$

i once found hotspot elite shield cracked so they are available............

That doesn't work in China & Iran where officials are serious to block the things and have strong firewalls.

.
^many cracked versions usually have malware embedded, dont they?
or one runs the risk at the least.
either way, have fun OP.

as i was talking the torrent was in progress and it seems like some bad a$$ virus has bumped into my system...laptop automatically turned off while google chrome crashed ....man you !!! show me your tongue :what:

.
From my last visit in Shanghai in July 2012, I can confiorm you the following:
-Forget about what had been said in the western media on China. The reality is different and you will enjoy your stay in China.
-There is a lot of exciting entertainment in Shanghai, go to Xin Tian Di and try the nuru massage. There are a lot of International bars and discos. Karoke is also a must.
-Food is affordable.
-Shanghai and Pudong are very safe. In Pudong Technological Park you have commercial centres with supermarket, shops etc.
-Go to the Chinese garden, Shanghai expo, silk musuem and try a trip on hungpu for the Shanghai Skyline at night.
-From Honqiao airport you can go everywhere in China. China Eastern is quite cheap. There is also many park themes in China.
If you speak Chinese, you could easily adapt and look for all your need.

I've been to China many time before and liked it. That was the reason I took this opportunity.

I will advice you to buy software while you are China after making sure that works in there. Anyhow all softwares that support PPTP and SSTP protocols will work however speed depends on your internet and VPN service provider.

advise you stop the thought of driving in Shanghai if you are here for only one year.
1.we drive on the right side of the road, even if you are a skilled driver in india, you may meet problems here.
2.there are many single lines and overpasses, which are big challenges even for some local drivers.
3.in order to drive here ,you have to pass an exam of 100 Multiple Choice,90 is the pass line(hope there is an english version:wave:)
4.parking is also a big problem.
buy a car is very easy here:cheesy:, go to car markets or search a second car seller on internet.
good luck.

.
Thanks, any suggestion on a good proxy?
Buy a VPN service.I had used HideMyA$$ and they have serves in Japan,Hong Kong,Singapore,Malaysia,Indonesia and Philippines for Chinese users.Ping between Shanghai and there Japanese servers was unreal.

Use public transport for travel and Pudong is well connected.....using cabs will be pain in the ar$se because of language barrier.

There's one in Pudong near Shanghai Maritime University. The other I have heard about are Shanghai Punjabi and Patiala something :D Your best bet will be to install Openrice or TripAdvisor on your smartphone look for these places.
