Mourn idea of India, but don’t forget that the idea of people is changing too

Those who convert to Christianity for financial benefit, truly are among the poorest of the poor. You would rather not help them financially, but instead use a threat of disenfranchisement.

How can Hindus be vulnerable in Modi's India?
If Modi or other Hindus are so bad, how come Muslims are even alive in such large numbers and openly planning subversive activities?

In East Pakistan, Hindus were decimated. Why is it that Muslims are still flourishing in India?

The only way forward for India is to ensure that there is no representation of non-native religions in Indian polity and administration. Absolutely none.

blinded by hate ? hahaha were you not the guy who was banned here for posting picturing with racist caricatures of dalits and brahmins. I thought it was a perma ban. There is a lot of tolerance for forked tongue snakes like you here.

"racist caricature" :sarcastic:

I made that one and it was funny as hell

hurt your feels much, Jacob ? haha, good :bunny:

lel

I don't see you disputing any of the deaths that are listed. Instead, you go off on a tangent, feebly justifying the killings.

ok, Mr Victim Ullah Khan

I'm so sorry you're so oppressed and life is so horrible for your lot in India

I take that as you not having a proper response after being called on your blatantly false statement.

well the ban must have hurt. you are back again after all it shows you crave your presence here. The "meme" in addition to not hurting has shown you for what you are - a forked tongue gasbag who has a tongue for each occasion. And you expect to be taken seriously haha.

That 'explanation' doesn't help; respecting the beliefs of Hindus should not come at the cost of withdrawing respect from others. Further, whose definition of beliefs of Hindus are we to go by? A narrow clique of upper-caste hegemons? or the Dalit classed as Hindu, the tribal with no Hindus in the vicinity other than those that have trampled the laws of the land to deprive the tribal of his historical and traditional ambience, the caste Hindu in some southern states who doesn't give a flying f for the beliefs so unctuously mouthed by northern (and southern) bigots...even in Nepal, there is clearly no longer any respect for the rubbish that is sought to be shoved down everybody's throat, so what does this formula mean?

Hindus have largely been respecting everyone else for thousands of years, along with Jainism, Buddhism, Sikhism. It doesn't mean that they haven't engaged in persecution, but nothing to compared to what Christians and Muslims have historically done. They have given more than enough respect to Islam and Christianity. I'm not Hindu by the way. But it looks like you want Hindus to be meek and mild. Why can't India be a country where Hinduism is given the foremost place?

Furthermore, the image of clearly demarcated 'Hindu' zones and 'Muslim' ghettos smacks of the raw, naked fascism that colours much of the thinking of the religious right. What happens in areas that have a combined population of Hindus and Muslims? What happens, in short, if there is no clear majority or minority? Whose views prevail?

India is a HIndu majority country. When you're living in a Hindu majority country you need to respect the Hindus and their sensitivities - it doesn't matter if you live in a ghetto. That's what happens in Muslim majority countries - Islam and its worldview dominates. There are only two Hindu majority countries in the world - India and Nepal. If Hinduism doesn't flourish in these two countries, where is it supposed to? Are only Muslims and Christians entitled to have their world-view and culture dominate?

At least those hell-hounds Kapil Mishra, Anurag Thakur and their hooligan bands had no such double-speak; their message was clear, there is no space for anyone other than that sliver of uppercaste Hindus.

Yes there is Hindu extremism. That doesn't mean that Hinduism and Hindus aren't entitled to respect.

Nothing will dominate, the trend for secularization and modernization is irreversible. The future will bo more and more irreligious probably even atheistic.

Maybe. Until then, Hindus should have a place in the world. They are the 3rd largest religious group afterall.

Why can't India be a country where Hinduism is given the foremost place?

The introduction ( preamble ) to India's Constitution declares India to be a Secular and Socialist country so why should any religion in India be given the foremost place ?

You have a habit to throw irrelevant albeit stupid words pretending it's a sentence let alone a meaningful/relevant one?

A place in the world? Like power projections?? Then I am sorry to disappoint you, Muslim-inspired theocracies is the worst way of doing that, just look at the amount of power projections Muslims have got in the world with their methods in proportion to the population despite having energy resources or historical empires but they are slaves of the west when they can't even fulfill their basic need without, do they want to be slaves? Nope, everyone wants absolute power.... What India even have in comparison aside from being a poop-filled shithole? (not a rhetorical question of course)
Modern world is all about adapting to the needs that too very fast, a resisting group will be simply outpaced by an adapting group. A theocracy will always be outpaced by flexible law-society where laws change when the need arises instead of being dictated by a "divinely" fixed source.

The people have a right to the change that if they so wish. If most Indians want India to be an explicitly Hindu country, or where Hinduism is given the foremost place, they have that right.

Yes. A place in the world where Hinduism flourishes and is the dominant culture and its sensitivities are respected. For example, dogs are adored in the west, why can't cows be adored in India? Slaughter of cats and dogs for meat is prohibited in the USA, why not a ban on the slaughter of cows in India? Muslims and Christians have many countries where they are the dominant majority and their beliefs and worldview dominates.

For example is there a western, Christian majority country that officially celebrates any Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, or even Muslim holy day? Judeo-Christian ideology dominates. No one complains, despite these countries claiming to be "multi-cultural" and "multi-religious" and a "melting pot" in the case of the USA.

What does India have? A civilisation. Influenced half of Asia. More if you consider the influence of Buddhism all the way to East Asia. Deserves to be promoted and protected in the interests of diversity - not swamped and destroyed by Judeo-Christian and Muslim forces. Like I've said before Hindus and Hinduism needs to flourish somewhere in the world and there is no better place that in the two Hindu majority countries India and Nepal.

Would you say the equivalent for Saudia ?
