What's new

Mourn idea of India, but don’t forget that the idea of people is changing too

Sanity? you need to ask yourself what are those who voted fascist trying to do? What do they want and believe? What is sane to one man is insane to another.
There are multiple definition of sanity. There is one definition for survival. You should be alive, thats the bare minimal. What happened in B'desh in 71 was to ensure that Hindus -- who were 25% of East Pakistan could not even live.

Hindus need to ensure that Muslims in India never wield any power at all and quit Islam for good.

It is as sane as it gets. If survival is insane, then so be it, Hindus will be insane but atleast they will survive and not eliminated like those in East Pakistan.

Hindus already have the wealthiest nation on Earth
HaHaHa!
I work as a chef (till my job was wiped out briefly due to Covid). Then I worked as a farm worker for some time. In one year I am able to generate 120K. After tax it is about 90K. I can save and send more than 60K a year to India, a part of which is donated to good causes.

Thats about 30 Lakhs or more a year.

I challenge how many of the so called "wealthy" among Indians can actually save as much. Saving of 30 Lakh a year in India is by any standard a massive one.

Hindu homeland is NOT wealthy. Not by ANY count.

You are in Canada to help yourself because like a normal greedy selfish person you want more.
Indeed! I am greedy and my greed wants a homeland for myself. As a chef in India I would mean nothing. Nothing at all. As a farm worker in India, I would not be able to feed myself. Here I can not only do both but also contribute to the goal of fashioning out a Hindu homeland.

I am greedy for long term.

That is fine but that is not Hindu nationalism. It is you for you.
If Sikhs can practice their nationalism from Canada and actually become a force to recon with, Hindus are numerous and a lot us are doing much better than Sikhs. I am among the one of the most down trodden. Rather I am the weakest among my kind and YET by positioning myself, I can contribute significantly. I will be pragmatic and do it. After all Shivaji escaped out of Muslim's thrall in a fruit basket. Position matters. In chess and in real life.

Survival. yeah it is war. There are precious few good people. Mostly just thieves, beggars, tricksters, slavers, rapists, killers and parasites.

Wealth
India produces everything. Feeds over 1.3 billion people. Has untold riches that citizens could sell if they need money. Lots of food resulted in too many people. Now there is too much competition and of course no Jesus love thy neighbor bs. Wisely, instead of competing in India, you chose to live off of the wealth created by people who sacrificed in Canada. You are in a majority now. Tens of millions have come to beg for well paid jobs based upon that Jesus love bs. But, take a look there is no more love. Don't believe me? The world collapsing. Nations arm. Armies assemble for war. World begins to burn and flood. The slow march to oblivion.
It is just what you wish for. Hindus for Hindus. That means Muslims for Muslims. Christians for Christians. Jesusites for Jesusites. tribe for is own tribe ....

We didn't start the fire, it was always burning since the world is turning.

Muslims got Pakistan and Bangladesh, about time we secure our homeland. I know what it means to be homeless.

Well, if what Justin Trudeau is saying is true then for some inexplicable reason Canada needs even more immigrants.

While I was working in farms, my colleagues were folks who came from South America, India and even north America. The general consensus was that if we do not harvest the produce in time, it will be trouble for Canada and thats why they tolerate folks like us. Its an arrangement. We bring in labor, Canada gives us money and sometimes even allows us to live here for good, that is if we behave.

Anyhoo, its an Off Topic tangent.

Alright folks, enough time for talking... Time to check the chicken.

You keep sounding and acting like a Canadian not like a Hindu nationalist. Look at you, you are even being passive with your comment (an attempt to illicit sympathy?). Haha that so common with Canadians. I do not believe that you are nationalist. I bet you are just frustrated like billions of other people.
btw When I speak of begging for a job. It is my frustration at what I see as paying money we don't have or cannot afford. Might be more like how Indians think since most Canadians really don't like me very much. LOL
So anyways. Do NOT take my beggar comment personally. It is NOT against YOU. I know the system rigged and people must do as they must do. I also know that without high salaries and quality of life few people would chose to live in Canada.

Have a good one.

And there is no concrete proof of Indus Valley Civilization having anything to do with Hinduism.

And there is no concrete proof of Hinduism otherwise too having Indian origin.

That is besides the point. I am not denying that Islam came to India from outside.

Again, that is besides the point.

Probably the most stupid statement i have heard on this forum.

Ah, you have just returned from Mars on your 5000-year-old vedic spacecraft and have typed this post on your 10,000-year-old vedic internet. I understand.

I am sure this rhetoric will help you resolve your insecurities of not belonging to the native Dharmic religions of this civilization.

Dont worry your pakistani friends will help you find Islam in IVC.

Islam in IVC ? I have no such illusion. Delusion. Confusion. I am not a big student of history but I know enough.

Shiva_Pashupati.jpg

This artefact is commonly recognized as the Pashupati Seal or Proto-Siva seal. It was excavated at Mohenjodaro within the Indus valley which is dated to approximately 2500 BC. Made of steatite, it is a rather small object measuring a mere 3.4cm in height, 3.4cm in length and 1.4 cm in width. One can currently find this artefact in the Indus Valley civilization Gallery within National Museum, New Delhi.

The name given to the seal, "pashupati", meaning "lord of animals", is one of Shiva's epithets. It has also been associated with the Vedic god Rudra, generally regarded as an early form of Shiva. Rudra is associated with asceticism, yoga, and linga; regarded as a lord of animals; and Shiva may be depicted with three heads.

This is a flat square double sided seal. On one side, four script symbols are inscribed in reverse, above a bison with head lowered to the feeding trough. A swastika motif turning counter clockwise is carved on the reverse. The seal is perforated from the side along the axis of the animal motif.

Swastika,Shiva Linga's ,Pashupatinath in yoga posture terricota figurine,Red parting lines of married women (sindoor) etc etc

are common symbols of IVC.

you can give any name you want. Just because someone named a jupiter satellite as europa does not mean a eruopean created the satellite. It was named by some brit (like always - everything from your vedas to your history came from european intrepretars) based on some speculation.

Yes. A place in the world where Hinduism flourishes and is the dominant culture and its sensitivities are respected. For example, dogs are adored in the west, why can't cows be adored in India? Slaughter of cats and dogs for meat is prohibited in the USA, why not a ban on the slaughter of cows in India? Muslims and Christians have many countries where they are the dominant majority and their beliefs and worldview dominates.
The analogy doesn't add up, more than half of India is non-vegetarian. Plenty of states eat beef including Southern and North-Eastern states. Moreover, no one in the USA ever fought elections in the name of dog/cat-slaughtering neither they ever - these stupid things would just impede growth.
For example is there a western, Christian majority country that officially celebrates any Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, or even Muslim holy day? Judeo-Christian ideology dominates. No one complains, despite these countries claiming to be "multi-cultural" and "multi-religious" and a "melting pot" in the case of the USA.
India is celebrating Hindu festivals since at least independence, no one ever complained - not even those "evil sickulars", what I want is separation of religion from political campaigns and discussions.
Ohh, btw I found this,
Contradictory to your assertations, isn't it?
What does India have? A civilisation. Influenced half of Asia. More if you consider the influence of Buddhism all the way to East Asia.
Duh, that's over dude. Wake up and smell the coffee.... The days when bulk population can influence the globe are over since at least half-a-millennia. India's influence was based in its location and gargantuan population but industrial revolution made sure that its not an advantage anymore. Quality over quantity determines strength now and will so in future.
Deserves to be promoted and protected in the interests of diversity - not swamped and destroyed by Judeo-Christian and Muslim forces. Like I've said before Hindus and Hinduism needs to flourish somewhere in the world and there is no better place that in the two Hindu majority countries India and Nepal.
Flourish? By keeping people pooping around, by being a third world hell-hole? Yeah exaggerations I know but sorry, I can't share that vision.
no, just super busy with stuff.
Then just don't reply at all or reply when you have plenty of time, meaningless replies are worst.
India is a great country, your country too..
"your country too..." but how that makes it great? Anything associated with the individual is automatically great?
India is a great country, your country too.. this is not some XYZ supremacist anything, what utter communist nonsense are some people here sprouting ?
Not relevant to "OUR" conversation.
watch Yuri Bezmenov ke videos
What is it? Argument from authority?

All that is just retro-fitting some familiar looking things from IVC to a few elements in current Hindu culture.

From the Wikipedia page for "Indus script" :
The Indus script (also known as the Harappan script) is a corpus of symbols produced by the Indus Valley Civilization. Most inscriptions containing these symbols are extremely short, making it difficult to judge whether or not these symbols constituted a script used to record a language, or even symbolise a writing system. In spite of many attempts, the 'script' has not yet been deciphered, but efforts are ongoing.

Should this be taken at face value ?
