Mother detained in China after pleas to probe death of vaccinated daughter

In a way he is right.

I find it funny how he goes on and say how brainwashed the Taiwanese and Westerners are in every thread, then in this thread he can spin the article and say the Chinese government is so responsible that your people are 'spoiled' for wanting to know more about vaccine deaths, and the article is actually praising the Chinese government LOL. That's some viva viet level of stupidity.

If I didn't know of his post history I would thought he's a 高级黑, but I guess he's serious.

Lol, not sure whether you're trolling at this point. That's some satire level of statement.
I'm serious. Most non-Chinese including the thread poster believe China is ruled by a butch of tyrants. Chinese government rules China with iron fist and has no idea of what human right is. Chinese people silently endure the cruel CCP and dare not speak loudy.

The reality is quite opposite. When the whole world keeps silent for the vaccine deaths. Only Chinese asked the government for "an explanation". Isn't this a face slap for those China's haters?

We have seen too many 医闹(trouble maker in hostpital)and 法闹(trouble maker in court)in China already. All they wanted is not justice, but money. A electric cable stealer was killed by electricity. The stealer's family asked government for compensation. Things like this always happen in China.

This news actually says something. News of the suspected vaccine deaths has not been covered up in China, so the news has spread within China as well. This, in turn, reflects the low number of vaccine deaths in China.

Second, according to the mother, her village offered her hundreds of thousands of dollars in compensation. But she must demand an answer. Let's be realistic. What's the answer? Hundreds died in Taiwan in just two months, and the first dose in the United States killed more than 2,000 people. Even assuming her daughter is one of 1,000 deaths, the Chinese vaccine has the best safety. The autopsy didn't prove the vaccine was to blame, so what do you think will be the answer?

Which actually proves another thing. There's a sentence on my vaccination certificate. Compensation is paid in the event of a death that cannot be proved to be unrelated to the vaccine. Totally unrelated to suicide, car accident, drowning. Deaths from disease cannot be proven to be vaccine-related or vaccine-independent. So she was awarded compensation.

The sad thing about this is that scientifically isolated events don't prove anything. There is no resurrection. Unless there is an obvious procedural problem, there is no answer. In China, the government does not need to prove that its actions led to results. Whenever something goes wrong and the government is found to have other problems, the government still needs to be held accountable. A government official should be held responsible for a bad public opinion. Isn't this a sign that the Chinese are so used to the government being in charge of everything?

Whether other countries are doing well or not is the problem of other countries, it can not be our excuse.
I know that foreign media want to use this to discredit the safety of Kexing vaccine. I believe that the safety of traditional inactivated vaccine Kexing is far more than that of mRNA vaccine.
But let's be honest. Is China's domestic media questioning the vaccine? No, they are questioning the reason for Jiang Yanhong's detention.
Jiang Yanhong lost her daughter, I understand her sadness. She thinks the amount of compensation is insufficient, and I also understand. The local govt did not want her to appeal in Beijing because it meant their incompetence, I understand it. But the police cannot use detention to prevent Jiang Yanhong from fulfilling her legal rights, she has the right to appeal to Beijing.
The police should publish the legal reasons and evidence for the detention of Jiang Yanhong.

A thought just crossed my mind.

A child died in China presumably from the effects of Chinese vaccine and some people here making all sorts of unproven and unscientific allegations and claims as to whether or not the Chinese government should be held responsible for administering the vaccines.

Meanwhile in a third world nation somewhere around the world where only 1% of its population gets to be vaccinated people are praying for the availability of a vaccine.
In India such deaths are generally accepted as fate and folks gathered to offer only their prayers. :coffee:

I must say that this demonstrate democracy inside China has reach another new level.

China is a good country and can do no wrong.
Indeed and you can enjoy your ban and watch China do good only..

Becareful with SCMP reporting. Is she really detain becos of she trying to petition or maybe she out of anger, curse and swear at officers? Or even slander officers?

I know typical anti China journalism with distort facts and link her detention to some unfound accusation. How about out of anger she hit a officer? You meaning hitting others for your loss of son is acceptable?

True, we need more information to come out since our HK Media usually do this kind of tricks such as withholding information or telling half truth half lie for misleading purpose.

How so? Indians have natural immunity. Chinese don't. No person will ever tour China again. They will not stay in quarantine camp for 21 days.
“Natural immunity” is a very Darwinian. Behind it, it's countless lives loss. What you said means: Compared with China, other countries have low human right advantage.

It is not Darwinian. It is mother nature. You humans and viruses are all children of God. If you disobey God, there will be severe consequences. As powerful as you may think you are, you are nothing compared to God.
