We know that from the graves. Only tiny minority was Arab origin soldiers. What is Al Jazeera thinking? By whom are they owned? What else do you expect from Al Jazeera. The whole purpose of that channel is to satisfy the ego centric nature of certain "royal" families in Arabia.

I have been keeping an eye on them for a while (since operation sun in 2008). They mostly have negative things about Turkey. Things about 1915 events, not calling pkk terrorists, interviewing pkk, trying to show turkey as a backwards country etc.. Its a shame that qatar is running it. Now they even have aljazeera turk.

They are trying to save their faces from embarrasment. The modern monarchs in middle east were all aligned with britain and fought against caliphate.

Besides aljazeera I also saw a show on qatari tv that was showing ottoman "occupation" trying to show the ottomans as oppressors to justify themselves allying with non muslims against the ottomans.

It's not Al Jazeera seems like no-one likes these treacherous, illiterate desert bedouins who only 50 years ago lived a primitive life. 100 years ago their enemy was Turks.
